I recently completed a DoorDash delivery to your establishment for an associate named Larava, and I wanted to bring an issue to your attention regarding the treatment I received during the process.
From the moment I handed over the order, the employee who received it was rude and dismissive toward me. As I turned to leave, she abruptly called after me, demanding, “Hey, why is the bag open?” I responded respectfully, explaining that the bag was not open when I delivered it. The seal had been loosely applied by the restaurant, and when she grabbed the bag from the top, the tape may have come undone. Before I could even finish my explanation, she slammed the door in my face.
This kind of treatment is not acceptable, regardless of one’s position or role. As a delivery driver, I was simply doing my job and following the customer’s specific instructions with professionalism and respect. I did not deserve to be met with hostility or disrespect, especially when the issue at hand was beyond my control.
I wanted to bring this to your attention because no one, whether an employee, customer, or delivery driver, should be treated in such a manner. I hope that this matter can be addressed to ensure a more professional and respectful environment moving forward.
