Itā€™s Monday, Iā€™m starving and havenā€™t eaten all day and have been in city meetings about permits and licenses. On my way home I decided to pop into Dogos Y Tacos El Gordo on Southern Ave in the Fietsa District Mesa by my house. They had a lot of menu options but my kids like plain carne asada and plain bean and cheese. I have the full flavor carne asada with all the fixins and got a papa loka for good measure. The food was delicious and they even toasted the burrito after it was rolled. The folks there were friendly and Joked Aronā€™s with me as they made the food. I tried a variety of dishes, including: 3 Birria Quesatacos Taco combo 2 Al Pastor street tacos 1 fish taco Although the flavors weren't to my liking, I appreciate the effort that went into the meal. One area that could use some improvement is the salsa bar, as I was hoping for a wider selection. Overall, it was a memorable visit, and I look forward to seeing how they evolve their menu in the future!

Wow. This place is amazing for foodies. Let me tell you, I love the birria ramen and the birria quesatacos. Their meat on the tacos are so moist and flavorful! The birria had little to no fat mixed in with the meat and I love that. The queso birria tacos are packed with cheese and meat and served with a side of birria soup. The broth is perfectly filling so try not to over order on the tacos lol I made that mistake and I'm trying to finish the broth.

Its also nice that they bring the toppings for your tacos to you. I liked the thinly chopped onions and cabbage. The salsa for your tacos is A1(I preferred the green while myhusband preferredthe red)!! The drinks are super good as well. I always get horchata with my food and it tastes very good here. All around I will definitely be...

Everything was outstanding and delicious, and the service was phenomenal!

We couldn't decide on which beverages to order so we ordered all 4. Each was amazingly fresh and delicious! My boyfriend ordered a second burrito halfway through our meal (something he's never done before!). I had the yummy chicken and potato rolled tacos. The staff was incredibly kind, courteous, and so gracious! We felt very much at home.

We brought 2 desserts home (Strawberry Cheesecake and Caramel Las Leches). They're homemade in Yuma and delivered daily. Oh my goodness... they tasted like heaven!!! Our esteem compliments to the baker.

We will definitely be back for another wonderful meal and dining...
