It was a really sad day when Dunkin' lost the "donuts ". I guess it's just a coffee house now? This pic was at 10:40am on a Saturday. Pretty much no donuts. By the time I get to the front of the line, someone, the manager, I assume, was taking the remaining 6 donut and sad-half-crushed-crippled munchkins out of the display case in the lobby, and putting them by drive-thru. Not sure why, as there were people waiting in line. The young lady at the register asked "what can I get for you", to which I replied " anything except doughnuts, evidently ". "I don't understand..." So, I sez, sez I "you can get me anything except Dunkin' donuts, because you are taking them away." confused look "Just get me 2 with sprinkles. Do you close at noon?" sez I. "Looking down, embarrassingly "no, 3pm" Laughingly, "What, are you looking for a new manager?" , I jested. Pretty much just got my 2 sprinkle donuts without any other oration from neither myself nor the employees. I'm really unsure of a business plan where you try to make it look like you are going out of business in the middle of your businessday.... Every restaurant/food service establishments busiest days are on...what? C'mon, you're almost there! Weekends! That's right, my Droogies. If I were an normal, undetermined customer, who wasn't sent on a mission from God , (or my wife, same difference in this house) to come back with something with sprinkles, or don't come back at all, I would have just about-faced myself out of there before I took a second step into the building. "But, the drive-thru was super busy!" My little lambs, drive thru customers don't get to see the tasty pastry until they open their bag.The people who come into to order at at a establishment that made themselves on round little pastries, expect to have a looksie, see what there is, what confectionery you are try to peddle. I would have gotten a half-dozen, if there would have been a choice. I know my 4 extra donuts didn't keep them from reaching their sales goal for the day. "But the drive thru..." It probably wouldn't have been such a line if there was any sense of urgency displayed by the establishment. That mean "hustle ", my poppets. Sadly, I went for donuts, and got deeznuts. Read moreAvante should NEVER be allowed to talk to customers EVER! The customer service provided by this girl is outrageous! She cut me off numerous times in the drive thru, no matter what I ordered she wouldn’t let me finish and when I said “excuse me I’m trying to tell you but you keep cutting me off” her response was “you’re not finishing and I’m really busy.” When i get to the window I ask if she was the one on the speaker she said yes I said well you’re very rude and she rudely replied with “well I’m doing 3 things at once.” I’m a small business owner myself with a store front and I would NEVER allow her to interact with my customers!
Addendum When she and another girl brought my order to my car I said I’m still missing a large coffee. I told her I ordered it during the time she kept cutting me off in the drive thru and I tried to order it from her and she says i can’t take your money and stomps off she i sent my daughter in to get it and she was talking about us to another employee and my daughter told her and the other girl you never told us to come back in and order it she acted like she didn’t know the order and my daughter said you know exactly what we are missing we kept trying to order but you keep cutting us off. Avante BANNED us from this Dunkin! Hahahaha what a joke who is the manager on duty and the franchise owner needs to get their employees in order! Read moreThere is a name on this receipt and I’m not sure if that is the person in the drive-through today. The young lady in the drive-through told me she could not add anything to my order and I only had I believe two items. She said I’d have to go around to add something and I told her I cannot do that. I’m on my way to work and she said well I’m taking this order right now and she continue to talk over her headphones. Then I started telling my daughter in the car how I felt that was wrong and she should be able to take an order. The drive-through girl said, just because the window is open It doesn’t mean you can have a talking session and she shut the window on me. I cannot believe this behavior. I think it’s terrible customer service even if she’s in a bad mood. Then somebody else came along that was nicer, but was unwilling to give me The name of the young lady that had been rude. She said we cannot give her name. She did say you can take mine, Noely. I don’t understand why the secrecy or the bad behavior/bad customer service no reason to be rude. All I wanted was her to add a sprinkle doughnut for my baby.
