Five Below — Local services in Gilbert

I have NEVER been treated so poorly by an employee in my life. This was my first visit to 5 and Below and I may never go back. After being in the store for 40 minutes, an employee started walking up and down the main aisle saying “40 minutes! We close in 40 minutes.” This was repeated 10 minutes later, then another 10 minutes later. We went to stand in line but the line wasn’t moving because they only had ONE register open. After standing in line for 6-7 minutes, the same employee yelled “4 minutes!” When the person in front of us was getting their stuff bagged, he looked at those of us in line and smugly said “Stores closed!” We were dumbfounded. The lady behind us said “yeah and we’ve been waiting in line this whole time. You mean we can’t check out?” He said “We still have a till to count!” Even if we’d stood in line earlier, we still wouldn’t have been able to check out We walked away from everything that we had taken the time to gather. Over $100 worth of items. The employee who had been checking people out apologized to us as we left saying “I’m sorry. I was trying to hurry to get to you.” I was just dumbfounded. A whole hour wasted! Because some employee was in a hurry to be somewhere else? I’ve had to count many tils in my life and it’s never been done at the expense of a paying customer. Unbelievable

Five Below is amazing! Especially for first timers. I never realized almost everything in the store is $5 or less until my first visit. Before going there, I thought it was a winter clothing store or a furniture store. It's a everything-you-never-knew-you-needed, budget-friendly store! You never know what to expect on a Five Below hunt, but you can always count on the game fitting your budget. I recently started painting, and I needed skin-tone markers to complete a piece. Lo and behold, I looked through the art supplies at Five Below and found the markers I needed! At Michael's the pack of skin-tone markers cost $26, but at Five Below they sold for $5! I got what I needed and walked out happy. The painting turned out very well, I'll include a photo of it! Thank you for your business Five Below, I am a big fan. The lady working the front desk was very friendly when she greeted me. She really made me feel welcome at the store and even though I forgot my mask she was able to give me one. It seems like this store is still out of stock on some fitness equipment and weights. It also seems they were kind of lacking in the clothing selection that the Five Below in Signal Butte has. However they did make up for that by being more well-stocked in other categories in their store.

While I did find the weights that I was looking for, I was able to find some other cool stuff. Also this door has a good deal on candies 10 for a dollar and you can choose whatever flavors you like. There is self checkout at the front desk people are there to help you if you have any issues checking out. Even on a weekend afternoon the store was not too busy and I was able to...
