E.T. Tea & Popcorn Chicken — Restaurant in Mesa

If you've passed by this place and thought about trying it, this is your sign!!! We were absolutely charmed by E.T. Tea & Popcorn Chicken!

First impression, the interior is VERY CLEAN and COOL, and cute and trendy. The staff welcomed us immediately upon entering! I loved the customer drawings all over and how they save the customer drawings from the previous year.

Oh my goodness, this place is so cool and decorated absolutely nothing like any other boba tea place we have ever stepped into. We saw it on the way to the Cinemark theater and popped in after the movie.

The parking lot is not large, maybe eight spots. We were greeted by a large green alien and then I almost tripped over my own feet walking in the door ... down a ramp. I wasn't expecting the ramp. LOL! The ADA would be happy. :-) I don't know how long they have been open but the place was immaculately clean. My sister thought it smelled a bit "antiseptic" but I didn't get that at all.

The decor is simply gorgeous and totally follows the extra terrestrial theme. Their menu is small compared to other places but I do not feel that is a bad thing. Some places have such a large menu you can get lost in it. We ordered the Orange Strawberry Limeade and Mango Pineapple Smoothie, both with boba, of course!

Aside from their decor, there was something different about their boba that tantalized my taste buds. The pearls were sweeter, tasting a bit like honey. I would definitely...

We have been here a few times now and a review is overdue... ET is in a small house with attached parking spaces, the sign is not easy to see so you may pass it in the blink of an eye. Inside it's a quirky decor in an impeccably clean shop with several seating options. Every single smoothie or tea or coffee with boba has been phenomenal! Regular boba, brown sugar boba, or crystal boba - all are the freshest I have ever had outside of Taiwan. Each kind goes with different drinks, our favorites are Mango Smoothie with crystal boba, brown sugar latte with boba, Assam black tea with brown sugar boba. We have also gotten take out: popcorn chicken bowl, popcorn chicken, etc. Juicy and crunchy chicken pieces with various sauces/ flavors to add, rice &sauteed chicken in the bowl is on point, vegetables are cooked but remain with texture and crunch. Prices for boba are average, a bit less than some of the chains. Service is wonderful, Grace is really excited about what she has to offer.

I can't wait to go back again and again to try...
