For those who believe that customer service is to be held to high standards when dealing directly with the general public. Then this particular Hungry Howie's Pizza ( 1116 s Crismon in Mesa ) is NOT the place for you. My personal experience was completely infuriating. Disrespected from the start when my wife called the restaurant to place our to go order and was greeted with hostility. The rude woman was quick to point out what time they closed, my wife looked at her phone and replied " it's only 9:20" she asked her how late do they stay open. The woman hung up after saying 10:00 pm so loudly that I heard her from the other side of the dining room, my wife standing in the kitchen a good 25 feet from me. I live 8 minutes away from that location, only been here about 6-7 weeks. I jumped in the car and rode up there to be welcomed by a locked door at 9:40 pm .. Other customers standing outside witnessed the lady looking at me mouthing the words. We are only taking online orders we close at 10:00 pm. She then walks to the door and unlocked it to let an employee out so I took the opportunity to point out the hours posted on the door display that this restaurant is open for business until 10:00 pm ... She very as matter of factly said not tonight and locked the door leaving me dumbfounded at the lack of human emotion in her demeanor. I proceeded to let her know how I felt quite loudly through the glass door between us and simply walked off with an overwhelming amount of sorrow for the woman. I really appreciate good genuine customer service. That woman must have gone through something extremely bad in life to treat a customer with such rudeness that it will have a bad impact on her employers business. I drove away angry, but it soon turned into concern. The generational diversity in this world today has never been so totally opposite in every way of the prior generation that proceeded them. If that makes sense, it's sad that it has gotten to a point of disparity and a loss of a whole generation of people who have succumbed to this sense of entitlement. There's no humanity, an AI bot could easily replace that woman and preject more genuine emotion and overall customer service. About a month ago I called this restaurant to order pizzas and bread sticks and a soda the entire order was about $35 and I asked for delivery and the guy on the phone told me I needed to leave a tip for the driver prior to delivery because if I didnât leave a tip ahead of delivery the driver would not deliver I said no and canceled my order. Tonight I tried to order 4 1topping pizzas and nothing else and said I would be in to pick up my order the guy tried to charge me $71 I said no because that isnât even the cost of 4 pizzas the pizzas are $11.99 each and I know that doesnât equal $71. I asked the guy to check the computer again and said that doesnât equal the cost and the guy on the phone hung up on me. Do yourself a favor DONâT order from this restaurant and go anywhere else. As a customer you should have the right to wait to tip A delivery driver after they show up with your food a tip is not something that is required. A tip is for a job well done.    Read moreIt this does not give me any options for no stars first off they convinced me that they accepted EBT and when I called back they did not answer for 30 minutes so I drove there place my order we're then they charged me for wings that I did not get when I asked to get the charge reversed for the wings the guy said it would be a couple of days I still have not received it. When I asked who his supervisor was he's still denied me information. I wound up paying for my meal with money I did not have I have not heard from the district manager with whom I left my number for. I am so thoroughly angry about this I have not even called to try to do further. The person when asked who is his supervisor said that he was both day and night supervisor I would not recommend going to this place ever and I will be yelping.
