Went while I was on break with a friend during a long class. We got two regular tacos, an order of tiny tacos and a small curly fry. The girl who took our order was very sweet and nice and she told us to pull around so we did to wait. A couple minutes later we saw a worker walk out carrying a purse and three or four bags of food and two drinks. Me and my friend thought that one of the bags might be ours and she brought it out with her own things. She proceeded to get in her car and leave, so me and my friend go inside, the same girl who took our order came over to help us and we asked how much longer our food was since we just saw that other worker and the girl responded that it would be a few more minutes since it was her and one other person and that other worker was off and made her own food. We understood, but as she was talking, I looked at the kid in the kitchen, a boy that looked to be in high school with black hair, and saw him putting two fresh tacos into bags with no gloves, so I asked the girl, “I’m sorry but is he wearing gloves when he is in the kitchen?” She responded that he washes his hands and probably took them off in order to do so. I explained to her what I saw, during which the boy went over and washed his hands. When she was done talking he proceeded to ask “are you talking about me?” Very aggressively, to which I responded “yes because as a food service worker you should know that one of the most basic guidelines of food safety is that you must wear gloves when handling ready to eat foods.” He proceeded to yell at me that he washes his hands after every order he makes and that if me and my friend don’t like it, then we need to leave and go somewhere else. He told me to call corporate because he didn’t care because he was going to be leaving that job soon any ways. I told him fine, that I would and told the girl that we would like a refund for our order and the boy stormed into the back. The girl looked at me with a look that said “I’m so sorry” I felt more bad for her because it didn’t seem like this was the first time this kid had caused issues. We got our refund and left, ended up being late for class when it was completely avoidable, wasn’t able to eat until 5:30 pm when my class got out, the last thing I ate was at 10:30 before class, and proceeded to have an already shit week have a cherry out on top by an entitled child who thinks he can get away with this behavior. There was no management in sight, severely understaffed by employees who have no consideration for food safety...
Read moreThis is bc of ARMANDO! I had a bad experience today to the point the cops were called. I had ordered from DoorDash and there was two burgers missing. Before driving to Jack-in-the-Box, we already did the whole process with doorDash. So I drove to Jack-in-the-Box to pick up those two missing burgers, went through the drive-through and talked to the girl. She went to the back to talk to someone and that was the manager name ARMANDO OR MANDO. He came to the window and told me that he was the one who packed them, and he did put the burgers in the bag ( he didn’t put them in the bag, he forgot!) . He kept going back-and-forth and started to get frustrated, so I started to get frustrated. He told me to that I needed to call DoorDash. I told him that I already did that and that’s why I drove over here to pick up those two missing burgers. He closes the window comes back with the DoorDash number. I told him that I was going to call and he said you can’t hold up my line.then proceeded to say I’m gonna call the cops. I moved to the side and go inside to get his name. This whole thing was ridiculous. I just wanted my two burgers. ARMANDO THIS MESSAGE IS FOR YOU. NEXT TIME TAKE A DEEP BREATH AND DONT ARGUE WITH A WOMAN OVER A MISTAKE YOU DID! OWN UP TO IT. AND TO THE GIRL WITH ALL PIERCINGS ON HER FACE, HOPE YOU TOLD THE TRUTH. Anyway the cops showed up and now I’m banned from this...
Read moreWorst experience. Pulled into the drive through on 10/14/22 at about 11 PM. Line is long I get it it’s a Friday night. I pull up order my food everything is fine. I get to the window FINALLY at about 11:25 and a hand comes out of the window and motions aggressively to stop before the window. I sit there for about 7 minutes before I get fed up and pull up. I ask the employee why have me wait right before the window? And he says it’s for their timer. And that my food was almost ready. I get my food and receipt. I see on my receipt that my food wasn’t put in until about the time I was told to wait right before the window. So is this why you have to wait so long in line? Because of the employees being worried about their drive time being off? Not to mention I get my food and I’m missing items because once I FINALLY get to the window after waiting a total of 45 minutes they are in such a rush. 45 minutes for fast food. I’m better of eating at an actual restaurant. The attitude and wait is just...
