Where do I start? Food is good if you get your order right. Don’t bother going there in the evening because every time I’ve had to it’s been a long wait with bad attitudes. I went in last night at 9:30 after working all day from 6:30 AM and I ordered a famous bowl and two chicken sandwiches. I was told they didn’t have any fillets for the chicken sandwiches because they close at 10 so I said fine and I ordered 23 piece chicken, tender meals, one with fries and one with mashed potatoes. They took my money and sent me around to wait in the front. The girl who was working came out and gave me the bag which felt pretty light so I happened to check what was in it and I was missing one chicken, tender meal, and both the mashed potatoes and fries from those meals. I walked in and explained what was going on and I got quite a bit of attitude and I rolling. I was told they were out of mashed potatoes and the cashier said she told me that at the window so I asked her well. What did I order in place of the mashed potatoes? she just asked me what I wanted and told me once again because they close in a half an hour they didn’t have much available. I asked for fries for both of them because all I had was three pieces of chicken with no sides. I had to wait about 10 more minutes and she brings me out a box of chicken and one order of fries. And I asked where the other order fries was because neither meal Heather. She then rolls her eyes at me and storms off and brings me back. Another container of fries about five minutes later at this point it’s about five till 10. She brings me the second order of fries, and I made the unfortunate mistake of asking for the honey mustard sauce that I had asked for originally with the order.. she takes two of them and tosses them on the counter in front of me and walks off. I can understand the aggravation if I came in at 9:55 asking for a meal, but my first order was placed between 920 and 930. I mean if this KFC doesn’t wanna serve food after 930 they should close at 9:30 and not at 10. Quite honestly the complete lack of respect for a customer coming in and paying for food and getting treated like that is unbelievable. I just helped pay this girls wage and I get treated terribly for it? Get this young girl off your night crew! By the end of it, I lost my temper and told her as much. I told her if she hated her job and her customers as much as she portrays in her attitude, it was probably time for her to find another job and leave this one. I hope you hire some better people with a solid sense of...
Read moreWalked in to order food around 8pm today and, as I turned to the kiosk, I heard someone hit the ground behind me. Naturally I turned to see if they were okay thinking someone had tripped or something and saw an employee sitting up and throwing himself backwards on the ground while wailing. I thought he was upset over something until I saw his pants almost around his knees, exposing his bare butt to the front door, and cuts and bruises that looked fresh all over his face. The way he was acting looked like either an overdose in process or an episode of psychosis. My fiance and I left immediately because we didn't feel safe and, as we were discussing whether to call for medical, another employee walked out to deliver food carside. We let her know she may want to have medical come by and check him out but she rolled her eyes and walked inside. We made the decision to call 911 just in case and, when the ambulance pulled in, she walked to the door, rolled her eyes again, and walked back behind the counter where, we found out from the police, they were actively trying to hide the employee. Everyone refused to let anyone help and said they would send him home with a ride. Overall, I didn't feel comfortable with the fact that the staff allowed the behavior, especially in the front of the store and refused to do anything, then followed up by hiding him from police and EMTs. The whole situation made me wonder, if they allow this without any action, what are they allowing in the kitchen? I won't be returning, filed a complaint with corporate, and will be figuring out how to contact the franchise owner tomorrow. I understand some people need extra help and compassion, but this behavior from everybody in that store was unacceptable and dangerous. The way that man was acting would have traumatized my children if I had...
Read moreOn Sun 9/18/22 I went to this KFC to pick up an order. A polite young staff member communicated to me that there were one (1) fryer down and short staffed (only 3 ppl were working the shift). It took about 30 mins for me to place my order and get it to go. I 100% sympathized with the shift workers, they were trying very hard to fulfill all orders while taking s&*t from the typical entitled whiny fast food customers. I'm giving 5 STARS to the hard worker employees from the afternoon shift on 9/18.
QUESTION: Where was management or leadership to help manage the shift crisis? I didn't see a single person from management or leadership giving a hand and/or helping customers with their orders. You (leader/manager/owner) are responsible to protect your team and provide the means so the workers are able to gracefully do their job. A real leader protects their people and pays them well. I hope those 3 hard workers get overtime and an apology from you for the hassle and stress they went through. To the lazy ownership of the KFC in baseline; do your job and support your staff when they need it the most. I saw this 1st hand; I've been a people leader (military and civilian) for more than 30 years combined so I know what true inspiring leadership looks like. You are an embarrassment and I hope KFC corporate sees this to correct this situation. Ppl indeed like to work and will go the extra mile for leaders that make them feel...
