This is a TexMex relatively fast food restaurant. They do a pretty good job at keeping the line to order your food moving fairly quickly. We have enjoyed everything we have ordered from here, which is fairly easy since everything is so customizable. The only thing that I thought they could have done better was making sure they had enough of the toppings on hand.
My husband's bowl was a bit light on meat because they only had about 1.5 servings of it on hand, so they gave him about a .75 serving. Since meat can take a while to cook and prepare that's reasonably understandable, but they didn't call for more until they were serving my husband.
As for the other toppings I know that they have sour cream and salsas ready to go in the serving containers ahead of time, but the lettuce doesn't seem to be that way. After I asked for lettuce on the first of my two bowls, they called back to the kitchen for more, because just like with the meat there were only two servings left. Then I asked for lettuce on the second bowl as I had planned, leaving nothing for the people in line behind me.
If it had been later in the night it wouldn't have been as big of a deal, but this was 5 hours before closing at the peak dinner time for the area. I would think that looking ahead a little better around that time would make everything run a little smoother. I have no idea how long the people behind me had to wait for carnitas or lettuce, but when I worked food service we were always pushed to make sure we didn't run out of anything during our rush times. That way people wouldn't have to wait for us to quickly try to prepare replacements...
Read moreWhat a disappointment. Awful customer service.
Food is good (when it's available) but customer service is in the pits. I've been coming here about 1-5 times a month for a year now and despite all the issues with food that I've looked past, after my experience this morning will not be back.
Had a burrito and bowl made around opening at 10:45am. Waited for steak to be finished. That made it to my burrito, but no meat on my bowl. I didn't discover this until I got home. That's okay, mistakes happen. I drive the 15 minutes back to get this corrected ASAP.
I let the first cashier gal know this is eating up my 1 hour lunch break when I already had to wait for the steak to be ready at opening when I first arrived...4 fifteen minute trips now, I've wasted my whole lunch and then some on Chipotle today. I expected them to offer to remake the bowl and refund it, but when that wasn't offered I re-relayed this to the manager and asked. I was told no by manager Deeann, she would refund or remake it but not both.
To me, this should have been basic customer service. Basic empathy. It would cost you almost nothing for a satisfied customer here.
I spend hundreds of dollars a year at Chipotle, and since I've moved specifically at this location. They must recognize me coming in several times a month. I recognize them. Consistently they're out of several items at a time, most often vinaigrette and fajita veggies. That wasn't enough to keep me away, but Deeann's smirk and lack of customer service sure will. Will never return to this location again and wouldn't reccommend anyone...
Read moreStopped in for a late night bite. There was about an hour or so left of their service and all the chairs within the restaurant were flipped up and they looked ready to close already. For having quite a bit of service left and a decent line to the door, it’s a bit weird they already had it shut down and not look very inviting for guests to sit. There was a few people in front of me, which is totally fine, but, there was basically only one poor girl actually working. They had some young gentleman at the register, but he was so busy chatting with friends that were in the restaurant, this poor girl is trying to build all the orders for not only the people in line, but this poor girl had 5 take out tickets as well. Finally it’s mine turn and I’m asked to wait so she can start building these tickets… the other young gentleman is still just chatting away with his friends leaving this poor girl to do all the work herself. I even made a comment to the girl about how she was the only one doing anything and she says “it’s just how it goes”. You can tell this poor girl is over worked and clearly she doesn’t have co workers who help her. Not sure I’d come back to a place that has 0 team work. That girl deserves better coworkers. Also, when I asked the kid who was chatting the flavors of aqua frescas he told me 2 out of their 4, so clearly he doesn’t care really about his job as the flavors are pretty simple. Also, the drink station was absolutely disgusting. Trash shoved in bins that it shouldn’t be, liquid all over, clearly no one has been over there for hours....
