I am on a tight budget as are most people these days. I made sure to go on google and look up the restaurant menu before sending my boyfriend to order our food in store. He went through the drive thru, and ordered 2 carne asada burritos each priced at 8.52 (x2 =17.04) as well as the 5 rolled tacos for 5.48 just one (17.04+5.48 =22.52)… then we ordered 1/2 pint of rice and a 1/2 pint of beans which east cost 2.53 (2.53+2.53 =5.06 +22.52 = 27.58) and we asked for absolutely no salsa and we did not get anything to drink. However for some reason my boyfriend (who unknowingly left the lot without disputing the cost as he did not know) was charged 42.00 and change which even if you include tax is still way off. I called the restaurant that evening… twice. Both times gave my number both times gave my name and each time outlined exactly why I was calling. Mentioned the time my boyfriend came through and wanted the different refunded to me. Did I get a call back after being robbed basically? No. Not at all. No call, no nothing I’ve checked daily. I don’t just live up the street, it’s not easy to just roll on by is my point. And e worst part? The cashier did not give my boyfriend the receipt, so that wasn’t a choice we made it was a choice for the girl to not give it. This place is straight up shady they’ll take your money plus some extra and they won’t even have the gall to answer to it....
Read moreIt's alright, the foods pretty good but it's a little bit expensive and I'm a big ice eater and i get me a cup of it everywhere i go and normally if I'm ever charged for it, I'm charged 50¢-$1. But every now and then I'll get a place that wants to be that pettie and cheap and charge me there full price same as if there were actual soda or juice or sometime in it and not just ice.... THIS WAS ONE OF THOSE PLACES!??, The cup of ice cost over $3 F*#¥ dollars!!! GREED CRAZE I CALL IT! But really that's my only real complaint and that ain't even really much of one at that. The place is never crowded at all, i like that, there always real fast in no long waiting & foods hot. They for big tacos for $1 on taco Tuesday. And the girl that's always working there she's pretty cool never been given bad customer service going in there... Overall ild say if you're in the neighborhood and looking for some place to eat, stop there, it's the best place in this paticular neighborhood, but if your not and Just looking for a place to try ii wouldn't go out my way for it, it ain't nothing...
Read moreFriendly staff, fast service, not great food lately. Normally we keep it safe: bean burritos, rolled tacos, etc. this time I was craving some chile rellanos. They didn’t stuff the green chiles with cheese, and as a result it’s all seeds inside, and no sauce (it’s normally cut, deseeded and stuffed with a thick cheese and topped with either a green onion sauce or red enchilada sauce depending on where you go). They also gave me a terribly burnt one, burnt part on the bottom so It was “hidden”. I decided to just eat the beans and rice, and I haven’t had such bland beans in a LONG time. Not creamy, not salty, nothing. Again, normally their bean burritos are great... but if those are the beans being used we won’t be going back. We have lived near here for 8 years (my husband has been in this same area for over 20 years) and it’s NEVER been this way. I’m quite the chile rellano lover (I’ve eaten it as far as central Mexico, throughout Arizona & Southern California), and Ive never had a cheese-less & seeded one. Just avoid the beans &...
