I went here with a cousin and one friend. I'll start with the easy stuff, the reason people tend too go to eat Mexican food; the tacos' size were okay, but the carne asada was practically charred, they definitely left it on the grill longer than they should have. Los camarones de agua chile, those were absolutely over priced, $18 for a plate with 2 shrimp. That is an absolute joke and not portioned well, an insult too the customer honestly. The flavor was mediocre at best. The third dish, camarones a la diabla, those where over priced for the portion size aswell. The service was slow. The only good thing about the place was the waitress was at least some what friendly, not that she was seen too often. I don't plan to visit in the future. You're better of going to some place like Baja Joes for your shrimply intake and if you don't mind spending a decent amount for good portions and quality portions. A place like Backstreet Tacos for real tacos if you want that. Even Taco Bell, the plague of "real" Mexican food is an absolutely better choice, for both flavor and your dollar. Save yourself the trip....
Read moreI ordered the Aguachile Verde one of my favorites it tasted dirty literally like dirt I noticed that not all of the shrimp was deveined, the size was smaller than expected and when I found them online and viewed the menu I thought the pricing was ok but they overcharged me at the restaurant and when I showed them the discrepancy they acted like they didn't speak English which is odd because before the issue they understood English just fine to take my order, I was there 30 minutes after closing trying to resolve the situation which ended with me just paying it so I could leave, one guy in the back had mentioned calling the police if I don't pay what a joke, then as I'm leaving the waitress said something, there was a couple leaving at the same time, I asked the waitress what she said but she didn't repeat it and the gentleman leaving said she complained about my tip which regardless of the situation was 25%!!!!!!! Are you freaking kidding me. I absolutely do NOT recommend...
Read moreSea food is the word of the day...they seem to honor it...good food, great Coke made with sugar not corn syrup and delicious molchahete...was a bit pricey but ...not for penny pinchers ...the wife enjoyed the house margarita ...we will go back ... Went back three years later. The molchahete was kind of chincy but still delicious. Drank ice tea. My uncle had two tacos beans and rice. The beans were authentic and not whipped. The rice was very tasty. My wife had the civiche, that did not include the listed avocado because of the avocado shortage. They made up for it my bringing us another type salsa and three types of different sauces. All in all it was a decent meal. It would have been better if the waitress had brought our food together. That way we wouldn't have felt...
