I didn’t even like cider before I came here. A coworker convinced me to try it out and WOW, they really do have a unique lineup of tasty alcoholic beverages. No joke, I wouldn’t be surprised if this becomes a nationwide brand sold all over the USA. It’s that good. I’m also glad that they are in Mesa. I grew up here and am proud that we have a gem like this downtown.
Aside from the product, the people here are real and friendly. And the ambiance is cool. It’s an industrial hipster type of spot with big murals on the walls that reinforce their branding in an interesting way. Patrons here are laid back and you can really just chill and have a good time without worrying about a fight breaking out or whatever.
While you’re here try the pizza. It’s in the back and operated as a separate business called Myke’s. Really great thin and light brick oven style pizza. I travel a lot and am a big pizza dude.. this place could post up in Brooklyn and outshine a lot of pizzerias there. Super bomb.
I largely avoid leaving reviews and see them as a waste of time but I really want this place to be around forever and I know the pandemic has hindered their operations for a while. Do what I just did and go pick up a couple packs of their stuff to keep them going. You...
Read moreStopped in last night with the family, including a newborn in a stroller and a 20-month old. It was busy, but we managed to find a small table in a corner.
Great energy in the place! Lots of different people mixing comfortably throughout, from a military family celebrating their two sons' weekend leave ("We have 44 hours left of our 48 hours with them...") to guys wearing sequin dresses headed to a concert in one of the local venues. Everybody got along-- wonderful to see!
While we were ordering our drinks, Maddie (Mattie?) came over and said a larger table was available and asked if we wanted her to grab it for us???
Hells YES!
Maddie (Mattie?) grabbed a water bottle from our table and took it to the larger one while we collected our stuff and kids. It was wonderful of her to watch out for us along the way!
Jason was also very patient while helping me decide what to drink, even though it was very busy. He obviously knew the menu well and was able to hook me up with a very refreshing beer! Thanks, Jason!
Overall, a very friendly, easy-going place to spend time with family and/or...
Read moreI am strictly a cider drinker and I intentionally seek out cider bars in hopes of finding something that rings my bell. Let me tell you, this place is hands down one of the best cider experiences I have ever had! To be able to try such unique flavor combinations like ginger + beet, cucumber + honey, even a sangria combination, and every single beer on the wall be delicious is like heaven on earth for a cider lover. Cider Corps makes their cider into brandy and have cocktails based around that as well. And yall, the strawberry guava slushee was out of this world, I could’ve sat there and drank it all afternoon. Our bartender Brad was warm and welcoming, walking us through the meaning of the establishment, how the ciders were made, and had the best vibes. He made the experience an 11/10. We had two pizzas, pepperoni and the potato bacon and not a crumb was left at the end of the day. If I am ever in this part of the country again, I will go out of my way to stop by this tap room and see what amazing combinations they have. If you’re a cider drinker, this joint has to be on your must do list! You...
