Steve's Krazy Sub — Restaurant in Mesa

Been going to crazy sub since Ned's was east of gilbert Rd. On Broadway across the street from Reed Park not at that location anymore several locations around the mesa area never had a complaint before but my last visit the bread on my sandwich tasted like it was a week old and stale maybe just got a bad batch? But I'll give them another try and see how it is next time

Have now been back twice since 1st post and the service was great. Asked for extra mayo on a poor boy sub and the bread was fine this time and had plenty of mayo also. Only thing that I noticed was most of the tables were dirty took a napkin and brushed off the crumbs from the table and left my sandwich on the paper it was rolled up in so wasn't too worried about it not being cleaned. Another group of 4 came in after me ordered and sat at the table next to me, they asked the employee for a wash rag so they could clean off their table a vary cute girl came out and cleaned the table for them and washed one more table but stopped short and didn't wash all of them???. My visit was well after noon passed the lunch rush. There was a group of 4 guys eating when I entered the shop and only 2 girls behind the counter working, until the very cute girl showed up a few minutes after I got my sandwich and was sitting eating, before the group of 4 came in and ordered and sat next to me and asked for the wash cloth. My family and I have been coming here for years and it's been our favorite sub spot ever since! The reason behind my one star review is because over the last 3-4 months it's gone downhill. the new workers never get any of our orders right and don't give us the correct change back. So not only am I paying for food that is NEVER correct..they add whatever they want to the subs, and don't remove items requested... even with allergies being noted! It's been such a waste of time and money & after several weeks of trying to get in contact with a manager, nobody has cared to reach out to us even with leaving our contact info! Could not even finish my food here during my in store visit. First and last visit here. Employee was rude and impatient while taking my order. She scoffed and made a face towards another employee when i said i was eating here..ok no problem.. Then I witness so many health issues. Not washing hands after handling money, going straight to the food. Sneezing right on themselves and didnt bother to wash hands after that. I might just have high standards but I'm sorry thats disgusting. Then some other employee- not the one that took my order- walks up to the register and takes money out and grabs a cookie then goes back into the back "prep" area.
