Absolutely mediocre experience, drive thru has two lanes of which I decided for some reason to take the one lane that had one car in it in While it did take ages to finally be my turn it was probably the drivers fault however once it was my turn I was greeted by the person on the loudspeaker with the whataburger slogan, it was my first time there so I asked for a moment to order, there is a variety of options while not vast however some aren’t exactly cheap on average you’ll be spending $10 per person. Once I was ready it took the person on the speaker a couple seconds to answer and get my order however here is when the issues begin, I asked about the avocado bacon toast and was told what was in it while it may have been hard to hear me I also had asked what came in the meal, the employee seem distracted when there was only one car in ahead of me and the parking lot was sort of dead, I ended up repeating myself multiple times which is fine because of the engine of my car being loud, I had also asked if I could get that with no cheese to which I was meant with a large awkward silence assuming that something was being done to edit it however I received no response. I ended up getting the meal with a drink. They are not really fast when it comes to orders but they aren’t the slowest either, I ended up paying 11 dollars for the whole meal. The meal itself ended up having cheese on it and it was way too late for me to go all the way back to which there are also no napkins in the order. The food is mediocre as well as the service which is expected of a fast food restaurant however there are many other places with much better service and food at cheaper prices. On a side note the avocado toast was okey however when it comes to burgers that have been brought to me I can say these are not very good at all especially when there are cheaper burgers out there at a much better price or...
Read morePlaced a curbside order tonight (9/28/24). About 5 minutes after my wife placed the order online, we pulled up and marked ourselves there. I waited for over 15 minutes in my car before finally going inside to collect my CURBSIDE order. I stood at the counter for 2 or 3 minutes, being ignored by everyone in the kitchen including the manager until a gentleman on his break came from the dining room to check on me. I asked for the manager and when she finally came up I explained that I had been waiting for 20 minutes at this point for my order and I wanted my food. There is absolutely NO reason to be waiting that long when the restaurant is almost completely empty. She went back and prepared the drinks, and then sent a crew member with my order TO THE WRONG CAR OUTSIDE WHILE I WAS STILL STANDING AT THE COUNTER. The crew worker handed the food and drinks to the other folks and at that point I told the manager to refund my order and that I no longer wanted it. I'd already been waiting long enough and wasn't going to wait for them to remake it and definitely don't want it after someone else has been handed my food. This is the third or fourth time in a row I have had to go inside this location to retrieve my curbside order, but this was by far and away the worst experience.
What is the point of curbside delivery if I have to go in to pick the order up anyway? This store and management need to do better. ...
Read moreWe went through the drive thru since there wasn’t anyone at the cash register when we went inside. After ordering at the drive thru and paying, it took 27 minutes before they were ready with our order and we only ordered 2 bacon & cheese what-a-burger meals. There were no customers in front of us or behind us and no customers inside, so we wondered if they were slaughtering and butchering the cow back there. Definitely not fast food! The staff was nice when taking the order, but terrible on execution. With all that wait, the cheese was NOT melted, just a cold slice of cheese on both of our burgers and the meat was cold in the middle. So we wondered why it took almost a half an hour and the food is not even hot or cooked all the way. We had to microwave it at home. It was a terrible experience. After me raving about it to my husband (since the whataburger in the neighborhood where I grew up was awesome), my husband’s first time there was terrible and now he doesn’t want to go back, especially to this location. Honestly, it was over $30 for the 2 meals at whataburger. You might as well go around the corner (Stapley and the street south of the US60) to In-N-Out burger where you can get a meal for $8, they are fast and food is fresh...
