We popped in for a light lunch and we're very pleased with the service, ambiance, and quality of the food at Madelyn's. They started out with our drinks. I ordered a Bloody Mary and it was pretty good. Not over dressed, this Mary had a stalk of celery and a olive and lime for garnish. The real treat was the beverage. It was full bodies and spicy. Liz enjoyed her Blue Hawaiian. The kids were content with their 1L bottles of soda. The avocado toast, Liz ordered was full of avocado. They used red pepper flakes to give it a little kick. It was very good. The toast had a hint of garlic to it, maybe. The acai bowl that I had came with four toppings I went with all the fruit toppings. Strawberry, blueberry, banana, and coconut, but honey, and or something else was also available. I didn't want very much to eat, so I was happy that they had smaller dishes. The kids were fine with a pizza, and they had 10" pizzas. Noah actually finished the crusts, which he typically leaves. There was a a guitarist that played wonderful renditions of old rock classics or newer jams. It definitely set the mood - calm and relaxing. Our servers were very attentive and kept us in the loop as the pizza and toast came out slowly. They also had pastries and cookies I recommend this little place one block off the Mesilla main plaza

We had a great afternoon at Madelyn's. The food was great, we got the green chicken enchilada pizza, my daughter got the meat lovers calzone..so good!! Plus we got the Mediterranean salad to share. We sat in their beautiful, colorful, outdoor patio with plenty of shade (my dog honey was also able to join us) while listening to some live music. Our server James checked on us regularly and the owner personally took the time to show me around the restaurant which also had a cozy bar and coffee/pastry shop! One stop for everything in Mesilla. Its a great location for a date, coffee break or cozy cocktail. Thank you for making our experience a great one, we will definitely be back.

A cute and quaint bar in historic mesilla, the atmosphere was lovely and the service and drinks were amazing. Our server Luz was attentive and personable, im not a huge fan of mimosas with orange juice and Luz made me one with cranberry juice and it was delicious, my first time trying and my first time hearing about one with cranberry, I highly recommend. Zucchini bread was so good too!!!

Still in shock of how terrible my experience was.

We went there to support a new local restaurant just to have terrible service, disrespect, and our order forgotten. We placed our order (after feeling pressured but I just thought they were wanting to make sure we got our order in). After our order we sat down with our number and placed the number on the edge of the table. 30 minutes later and 1 employee passing by FOUR times to clean tables we still didn't have our food... Chicken Salad Sandwiches. After 31 minutes I decided to go to the front desk to ask about our food. There was literally 1 other couple, the couple who had their plates picked up near our table and no one else. The lady said they forgot our order. She said they could have it our shortly. At that point I asked for a refund which she credited to my card (reason for a 2 star vs 1 star on service). I was on my lunch hour and the whole idea of just lack of attention and service had me done. Her excuse was they had been really busy. But to have the whole restaurant empty and an employee pass by our table 4 times without asking if we were ok or looking at the number is crazy to me.

Food may be good but if you don't care to actually serve your customers or ask who they're doing then good...

We moved here from the Northeast 7 years ago and have been disappointed by the pizza options here. We happened on the charming Madelyn's entirely be chance and, finding pizza on the menu, decided to give it a try. We were, finally, not disappointed! Beautiful crust, with the perfect combo of crunchiness and chewy. The ambiance is terrific. There is an outdoor seating area with live music, and another a bit away from the stage. shaded by truly amazing, old gingko biloba.Inside is kind of amazing, in that is a collection of little rooms that offer different seating options. There are a couple of rooms with rustic, mission style, wood tables and chairs, another with a comfy couch and a big, stuffed chair, a beautiful slab of wood with a blue resin river running across it acts as a bar where 4 can sit, looking out at the gorgeous gingko and lovely outside seating while eating. We've been twice and still haven't explored all the rooms! It has a warm, cozy atmosphere that feels like coming home, but with the benefit of being waited on and not having...
