Mad Mikes Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Mesquite

I called a week in advance, and made a reservation for 23 people, I even called them the morning of our reservation to add a few more people. They said they would have the table put together and everything would be ready when we arrived. The gal told me we would all be able to sit together. When we arrived, NO TABLES were put together! We waited a good 10 minutes before being able to be seated. We all sat separately, service was slow, but our waitress did her best.. When someone makes a reservation and is told they can accommodate your party, which was not the case! It's pretty disappointing, I was embarrassed when we arrived. Nobody had any idea about our reservation except one person, and all they could say was "oh yeah, I remember something about that".

It was honestly was the worst meal, and time we have ever had anywhere. I'm truly sad about it. I called several restaurants in mesquite, and choice mad mikes because I was told they would accommodate our party. Which was a LIE and it feels like they lied just to get our business. Truly disappointing. Also the worst bloody mary I've ever had, I also asked how much a glass of draft beer was and was told over the phone it was $4, it was in fact $6 (not a huge proce jump, but information given to me was incorrect. ) it took over an hour for some of our party to get their food. Why they brought all the food out at once is beyond me, especially when we all sat separately. Oh all the food except for 3 people, they got to sit and watch everyone eat while they waited another 15 minutes for their food.

I LOVE THIS BAR!!! This is definitely one of the best restaurants in Mesquite! I have been reading all the reviews and all the negative ones are from people that are not regular patrons. I know that the service is sometimes slow but that is because they are so busy and popular with the locals. Mesquite has a large retired population and a small population looking for work so it is difficult to have more staff to handle the very busy periods. The food is great and the entertainment is awesome. Karaoke nights are very fun but you have to be patient with the servers, they are working very hard to take care of everyone. Here are a couple recommendations from a local patron, 1) Pizza...Ham, pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, red onions, mushrooms and most importantly...SLICED GREEN BAR OLIVES!!! (Thank me later). 2) Mad Mike's Burger cooked medium, lettuce, tomato, onions and mayonnaise with ketchup and mustard (again...thank me later). 3) Southwest Chicken Salad with double chicken...best dinner salad in Mesquite!!! So I went into mad Mikes I had my money in hand, $20. I go ahead and I sit at a machine the first machine I saw. I put in 20 bucks it doesn't give me any credits so basically it just ate my money. I call an attendant over to get some assistance she tells me I didn't put anything in and I try to tell her that I did I walked in with the money and she said I didn't also she says I'm going to call the cops so I tell her do it, the eyes in the sky will prove me right, so she calls the cops. I was being treated with disrespect and call a liar. The cops come in about 5 minutes and they said they're going to review the cameras so I get a call from a private number that day after they review the cameras and they found out I did put money in. So they hold my money for me till i come back. I was told by an officer to come back and grab my money. So I walk in today and they tell me I'm 86 and I'm not allowed there even though it was their fault. The disrespectfulness that I was treated with was just unacceptable.
