Ordered online , said time that would be ready 11:13 took me 18 minutes to get there. Got there take out parking is on one side of the building but no door so you have to walk all the way around to the front.
Walked in walked straight up to the counter no one waiting everyone seated..3 girls at the counter I’m looking directly at all 3 we were so close we could shake hands, no one said absolutely anything one pretended to be doing stuff on the computer and the other to talked to each other , I was so close you couldn’t miss me , finally after forcing them to make eye contact with me , by say I have to go order the girls who were talking pointed there heads towards the one girl who was on the computer who was still acting as if I wasn’t there, when she finally ask me for my name I walked exactly at 11:13 she told me if would be another 10 to 15 minutes, it was not busy she didn’t appear to have any more Togo orders at the time, when I pointed the that the online the said it be ready at 11:13 she stated that’s just estimated.
i walked out the door since I had time to bring my car around to the front. Came back in 15 min later stood at the counter again this time the girl was on the phone I guess taking an order. Again standing face to face keys on the counter patiently waiting she did say one moment please or anything just never made I contact, I waiting patiently standing at counter but kind of to the left because there was huge crowd that had just walked in trying to get a table with the other girls. I’m still patiently waiting keys are on the counter, I looked down at my phone for a split second and looked up and she was as getting 3 (Hispanic)guys who had just walked in after me to go orders keep in mind she never greeted me or acknowledged me the 2nd time around as I’m standing there patiently. She did not tell the guys she was here first or anything she just proceeded to get several orders from them . After looking at her do that , she saw me staring at her finally said what was the name again. Gave her my name she handed the bag and no thank you have a nice day nothing. That experience with the host and take out people alone made me not want to come back for dine in or take out. When I walked in it was predominantly Hispanic crowd and the music , and the host and waitress were and I am African American so I don’t know if the didn’t want to serve me because of that , but if there job is to greet and host they are not doing that, I am a cashier/ greeter at my part time job and at my real job I work everyday and talk to customers all day so I know what good customer service looks like and...
Read morePluckers club member and came to the new Pluckers in Mesquite to celebrate my birthday with my family. My group was for a party of 10 and waited about an hour to be seated which was expected with a larger party. We were very patient, but the host kept telling us there are waiting for a table To open up. After three different times That I asked for an updatewe were called to lineup by the Host Just for them to tell us, we still have to wait for a table has not opened up yet. I do not feel that there was no urgency on making accommodations to get us set quicker. The host finally said We can seat you in the patio If not, it’s gonna be more of a wait. We agreed to the patio table and once we were sat, the waiter was very friendly and apologized for any wait, even though she had nothing to do with our delay. She did right away tell us that her manager told her to tell us if it were to start raining We would have to go back on the way at the very bottom of the list. I immediately asked to speak with her manager because I know that it’s not the proper After already waiting more than an hour, and then deciding to put guest in the patio, knowing that it might rain. Her manager came out and repeated the same thing, that if it starts raining, we would have to go back at the bottom of the list Per his manager. I again immediately asked to speak to his manager, and his response was I think he’s already gone for the day but I’ll check. This was around 7-8pm so prime dinner time. Servers comes back to take our drink order and apologies again for the confusion and also didn’t understand why tables were get sat in the patio if it was going to rain. Server was honestly more sweet and accommodating then the manager. The manager comes back out just to tell us if it starts raining we will put you back on the wait list as number 1?!? At this point I’m mad my family is mad and the kids were frustrated. All that for what? The manager literally had no idea what to do, was not accommodating, didn’t help improve our experience and really just made it worst. We stayed and server took our order and still waited a good minute to get our food only to be cold and dry wings. I know this is not the pluckers standard and this place needs...
Read moreVisited yesterday for the first time at this location, and I tried to get on their yelp waitlist list like you’re able to join at their other locations and it wasn’t showing up so I called the store. They said the only way to get on the wait is in person, so we went in person to wait. We were quoted 30-45 mins and waited about that time, so glad we didn’t wait past that time. Server was very nice initially, but after we ordered she disappeared. Our food took over 30 minutes and not once did she check on during that time or let us know there was a delay. Once we got our food it was cold, and my order was wrong. Had to wait, and server never apologized for the inconvenience or assured me it would be out soon. Luckily my food was warm unlike the rest of my family’s food. I saw my server 1 time after food was delivered and it was toward the end of our visit, and we could’ve used her assistance earlier in our meal. Refills, replacement for warm food, etc. Once ready to check out she gave me the card thing to pay and I didn’t even get a chance to review the check prior. I definitely didn’t appreciate being shoved a tablet without giving me the check first, then my card. When she told us our told total it sounded high but because I couldn’t see the tab just total I paid. It became apparent to me when I got in the car why it was higher than I thought. Apparently they charge an automatic gratuity for tables of 6 or more effectively “this week” I’ve been a server for many years at hibachi restaurants, Hooters, Twin Peaks, etc so I understand this policy however for a family with 2 adults, 1 year old baby, 3 year old, 4 year old and 7 year old I don’t think that is appropriate. This is better suited for 6 adults or older kids 10+ since the server is not dealing with my kids, since they don’t order or speak for themselves. I did call the manager to discuss and didn’t seem to me they wanted to refund the tip was that added without notifying me prior or in writing somewhere. I would NOT have tipped 20% because of the service which is another reason why I had an issue with it being added on. I’ll dispute the gratuity with my bank and make the trip to Dallas or Addison locations in the future. This was a horrible...
