Usually, I have a great experience @ Pjs. The last 2 times have been a bit off. There are typically 2 females @ this location when i visit, a short white female and an average height black female. I entered the store and i quickly heard an upbeat, high pitched friendly voice. It was the black female. She was super friendly with the customers @ the counter. When i approached, her demeanor quickly changed. Her tone was low and disengaging. There was no eye contact and little interest was paid to my order, I'm assuming thats why it was wrong when she handed it to me. There was a customer behind me, who noticed her lack of enthusiasm and we smiled in agreement. I took my drink and began walking out and low and behold...the animated clerk was back in affect. She returned to the lively person she was prior to taking my order. Now, i visit approx 4 Pjs in the area and all of them are great and remember me and my order. This interaction was odd to me. I tried this place a 2nd time, and got the same lackluster attitude from her. Only, not only did she fail to greet me, she leaned on the counter to take the order. When i asked if i could enter my points, her response was "go ahead, u can spin it around...i aint touch it" . I love Pjs coffee and always had a great experience. Like i said, they know me. I dont appreciate her changing her behavior based on the color of a customers skin. And...for us to both be women of color, is...
Read moreI used to manage and have worked at several PJs and the people that work at this one are getting no training at all. All I get is a large southern Pecan cold brew. The cup is completely filled with ice and it’s 5.05 now! I understand inflation but five dollars for just a cold drip? I asked for light ice but actually got a normal amount of ice. We used to have guide lines on the cups to show where to put the ice. They don’t do that anymore, they just fill the cup. I honestly only go to PJs because of Felton Jones. Dude knows how to roast, but employees don’t know the proper way to brew and distribute it. I will take the time to drive to the Vets...
Read moreI'd like to give 0 stars. We arrived at 8:09. The woman behind the register didn't even bother to greet us. When she finally came to assist, she was extremely RUDE. We tried to order a coffee; at 8:09 with a 9:00 close, they had no more drip coffee and no espresso. Isn't this PJ's COFFEE???? We had good experiences in Texas. Go to CiCi's, Starbucks or one of the many other coffee spots. Don't give this...
