Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Metropolis

Awful! Ordered 4 different meals with substitution of shakes for the drinks for our dinner. Guess how many meals were correct? "0" We ordered by the numbers. 2 of the sandwiches were supposed to be doubles, got singles. 1 was supposed to have bacon = 0 bacon. Didn't receive any fries? they come with the meals. The cashier argued with us, stating that we didn't order correctly, we just couldn't make her understand. Another employee came on the speaker, a manager? She stated that the order was incorrectly keyed, and that if we wanted fries, we would have to pay for them. Ok, understandable... so the fries would be charged at the "meal" price? "oh no, you paid with a card, so you would have to pay the full menu price" Are you kidding me? So, we left with 3 incorrect sandwiches and no...

I literally was just at Sonic in Metropolis Illinois and it was 11:33pm. I pushed the button and the girl tells me they were closed. There were like 6 to 8 cars pulled up there and when I go and check to see what time they closed it's suppose to be Midnight!!! All I wanted was ice cream not a major order but maybe management need to be on this shift if they are shutting down a half hour early. Not to thrilled of the night time anyways because I have come up there before and gotten old food instead of fresh food. It was a chicken sandwich that was so rubbery I couldn't eat it so I fed it to my dog. People need to be retrained and have an understanding of food and the fact it can make someone very sick. 3 Stars, but ONLY for the day shift! We're from out of town. My father is in the hospital and we are staying at a local hotel until he recovers. We left the hospital and I said to my Mom let's go to Sonic they are always great! That's until now! Unfortunately we won't be going back there at night cause this was totally rude!
