I'm extremely happy with the service I received here. They've done a couple of small jobs for me before (mounting lawn tractor tires and repairing a leaking valve stem), but this time I brought in my Saturn Sky for new tires. Lifting the Sky needs to be done with special care because of the size and design of the car -- there are lots of horror stories about cracked fenders from improper lifts. I discussed the issues with Jason and he assured me that they could lift it properly. When I arrived I snapped my jacking pads in place and he put the car on a low, flat lifting platform that aligned with the frame rails and pads and was the perfect choice for lifting the Sky. The whole job was done in 45 minutes. The new tires that Jason recommended are quiet and smooth and ride and handle "like a dream." I'm also very pleased with the courtesy and professionalism of the staff and will definitely come back here the next time I need tires or any of the other service jobs that they can perform. Just a little update -- sometime after buying the tires for my Sky I picked up a nail in the right rear tire. I went back to the store and they promptly did the repair, free of charge. They removed the wheel and tire, unmounted the tire, and did it the "right way" from inside the tire. OK, I just bought my second set of tires here, all terrain tires for my truck this time. Once again the service was excellent, the staff was courteous and helpful, and the work was done in about 45 minutes. Before purchasing I reviewed what they had available in my size, then spoke with the staff a couple of times about recommendations. My wife, who has ovarian cancer, and I were traveling from St. Louis area to Nashville on Friday afternoon and had a shredded tire on the back, while changing the tire, the spare was flat. We were about 3 miles Wes of the Metropolis , IL exit when it occurred. I could was to the exit, try to hitch a ride but was concerned about leaving my wife who couldn't get in the car, since it was on the jack and it was hot. My wife asked the Hoky Spirit for one nice person to stop and within 30 seconds a white jeep Cherokee came through the median to see if we needed assistance, amazing. She was so sweet and offered to take us to Metropolis to a tire shop she said was there. So I loaded the wheel with shredded tire and the spare into the back of her jeep and she drove us to Plaza Tire, Tim and the entire shop were fantastic. They put a new tire on the wheel, aired up the spare and even gave me disposable gloves and rags to put my tire back on. The young lady then drove us back to our car and waited to mmake we were safe.
