Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Miami Gardens

Absolutely horrible customer service. I waited in a long line inside of the restaurant for over 20 minutes. I even had time to go to the restroom (I was instructed to use the men's restroom because the women's was out of service although it had no sign on the door) and come back to thr same long line. I asked one out of the 3 workers behind the counter politely what we (me and the same guest waiting in line for 20+ minutes) were waiting on and the worker, Marshenia, rudely said "you're waiting on someone to take your order" as she went about her business and ignored the guest that lounged over the counters and stood in line waiting to order. I was one of the few that decided to stick it out and wait in line because I was starving after a long rugby game but some unlike me couldn't take the wait and they left the store..probably to go to Popeyes. If they took another 5 minutes I would of made the drive to Popeyes myself. This review was long because I spent enough time in line waiting to order and waiting on my food. Finally got my food. The chicken is Hot but overcooked and dry smh..and I almost slipped on the floor as I left the restaurant because it was covered in liquid..not sure if someone spilled something and Marshenia or her other 2 coworkers couldn't get to it. Yesterday January 18, 2025 I decided to order a family meal from this location online delivery being that I was at work, I chose to have the food delivered 4 PM (My order was wrong but due to me catering for my family and leaving work one hour after the order Arrived , I had no way of knowing that this location churches gave my family spicy 16 piece chicken family meal ) I tried several times calling this location but No one answered the phone. Everyone in my family is older well over their 60s and would never attempt to eat spicy chicken or purchase this was a waste of my hard earned money! Furthermore I was charged two extra times on my bank account Statement Which all came to the total of $150 Which was later reversed, but takes 5 to 10 business days to return to my account , I see this as another setback being that rent and bills are due At this point, I will most definitely be doing a chargeback for the purchase. I made online for a $48 (Original chicken )family meal . And not a spicy 16 piece family meal That I strongly feel was deliberately done due to time and what was available at the moment for the large order . I only really good there for the biscuits 😋 Don't know really much about the food. Well I ordered chicken sandwich and fries too. Not that great. Wouldn't recommend chicken sandwich or fries. Biscuits are great tho. Hope this helped you. P.S. don't know her name but she was working on 6/29/25 at about 6:30 p.m. She is a light skinned young lady(a little heavy set) . Please don't take my description insulting it's just i don't know her name and want her to get credit for the compliment I am giving her. She was very,very pleasant and very respectful to each and every customer. She is a great asset to this establishment. Again, forgive me for the description. There was a young light-skinned African American mane with little dread twist that took care of me. This young man was awesome. These people working here make you feel like Kings and Queens. So respectful and polite. I love them for this. We need more employees like these guys.
