My husband , myself, and 4 year old go to Denny's for a late dinner. He ordered the rib eye breakfast, I got the grand slam, my daughter a Kids meal. Our food arrived warm. Half way into the meal, my husband ran to the restroom. I could see the look in his eyes. My daughter wasn't too far behind. It's just a habit. Being that I did not want to leave my food, I asked her to give me a bit. She stated she couldn't hold it. I walked passed the busser and made eye contact. Leaving my check, less then half eaten meals, and all on the table.. Within 3 minutes of being away, the table was cleared. The busser explained to me she thought we left. I mentioned the barely touched food, and untouched check. She tried to return my daughter's grapes, which just came out of the pile of "trash food". Unacceptable. Being that she barely spoke English she briefly stated she will replace ot with an ice cream. I guess a woman, that would be the head host came after her, and stated she can only replace the grapes with fruit and I would have to pay for the ice cream. I explained to her what happened, and there was no apology. No anything. I was handed a small container of goldfish. Meanwhile $40 of food went in the trash. Being that my husband was in the bathroom throwing his life away, I did not argue. He came out the restroom, dehydrated, upset, looking for his orange juice that was thrown away. I simply paid, no...
Read moreThe ONLY good things about this location are Chef France and George the Server. Other than that, THROW THE WHOLE RESTUARANT AWAY!!! I've watch this historical restaurant be run completely into the ground!!. Horrible!! Horrible!! Horrible!!! Miami Gardens aka "Carol City" is home. What used to be a stellar establishment is no more!! The now owners who have their CLUELESS brother-in-law, managing the place must be oblivois to anything going on. Staff turnover is crazy! Unsanitary cleaning practices plagues the place. In addition, the bathrooms are only attended to TWICE a day in an establishment that's OPENED 24 hours??? Newsflash COVID IS STILL HERE!! And the icing on the cake was the physical altercation/food fight that took place at my last visit. YES A FIGHT!!! That had to be broken up by the "Chef" screaming out from the kitchen (Yes!! The CHEF in the kitchen)!!!! Disturbingly enough, the "Manager" had absolutely NO idea a fight was even happening in YOUR establishment!! Where are we now...at the ZOO?!! Are you kidding me??? The Denny's locations in Aventura or Pembroke Pines would NEVER!!! You have already been closed and taken out of service over this past year due to code violations. Would you like a repeat?? This is hideous. Shameful. And simply said...totally unacceptable! My community and the patrons of Miami Gardens deserve much,...
Read moreI don’t ever leave reviews but this place has me pissed! So we just left the Rolling Loud concert and we are soaking wet it’s been raining hard. Im like cool Denny’s we can eat and wait for our Lyft to come in an hour. We go inside and the older with sunglasses on at 1am had no kind of organizational skills whatsoever so it was mass chaos. She seats a few people then decides she needs a waiting list. Ok so me and my son are added to the list. We are seated within 3 mins so now its about 1:05. The table we were seated at was nasty so I asked the rude ass cockeyed lady for something to clean the table with. She brings a napkin…1! I clean the table and we wait to be served. My son and I sat and waited from 1:05 until 2:14 without any acknowledgement at all. Not a we will be right with you, what can i get you to drink..nothing! Our Lyft finally showed up and we left. Now we will now be going to McDonalds 🥴 The staff at this location is lacking customer service skills. The lady with the messed up eyes doesn’t know how to talk to her waitstaff or the customers for that matter. I truly don't understand why there were only 3 girls working and there was a huge 3day Music festival. Did no one think oh a bunch of drunk and high people might wanna eat!...
