"DONT BUY HEAVY ITEMS HERE" After being a BJs member for many years and spending over $1000 on every trip to Bjs, I am quite upset. My husband and I own a business and I thought It would be nice to buy him a nice safe for paperwork etc. I saw a safe at Bjs. Com and bought it. Went in today within my pickup window and into the curbside pickup, my husband along with 3 bjs reps loaded yhe safe under rain to my husband's truck. After my husband looked at specifications he realized that the safe wouldn't fit. I went back to Bjs and asked the rep at customer service if there was anyone that could help and she said no, that the manager pretty much just said for me to figure it out.
I asked to speak to the manager Tony and he came and brought his assistant that had the name tag covered under a jacket but starts with an R blonde American lady, he told me they couldn't help despite it being a 500 pound safe and less under the weather conditions . Offered no sort of help, wasn't understanding with the situation , even though I told him that the box was getting wet and I needed to unload it off the truck and I was a women alone. No sort of customer service skills. Please beware do not buy heavy items at Bjs guys per Tony they cannot load or unload any items off your car by "Law".
I will be buying the safe else were ,canceling my membership and will reach out to put in a formal complaint on "The Better Buisness Bureau". No where on there site or in the store does it have any specifications about that anywhere. However last time I checked they sell in bulk and should be willing to help...
Read moreI have been a Bj's member for over 10 years I been doing my Christmas shopping early this year so I don't have to go crazy last minute , my experience @ this Bj's this pass week was not the best one I been checking online for the pass 3 weeks about a toy the most people know THE HATCHIMALS so I found the Bj's have them in stock nice first they have that service Reserved Online and Pay Pick Up @ the store that didn't work with this particular Toy I call the Miami Lakes store they said yes we do have it but we can't make no reservations over the phone we are not able to found the box is missing but we have it I said ok great I'm going to make my way to the store and I wait I got there a girl name Gaby very nice she told me yes they been looking they just haven't been able to found the box ok I waited over 2 hours for them to tell me no we don't have it great that's awesome news after 2 hours ok I when to look for the manage Amado he said sorry I wish we can make everyone happy but we can found it again thank you! I left but I when online again and still show up on the system that is in stock I call and the answer is yes we found the box and we just sold out the last HATCHIMALS the we put on hold for a customer REALLY when you told me you can't reserve or hold that particular item for no members wow that's amazing the girl over the phone I'm sorry man I said wow wow!! Read moreI was attempting to use my membership card to put gas in my truck. The scanner on the pump was not working, when I approached the attendant, a short skinny blonde girl with tattoos. I was told that "there is nothing i can do", that it was cash only at the register.
When I move to another pump another 4 cars pull up to the pump having the same issue. The attendant did even bother to put up a cone, nor sign to let members know about the inconvenience.
The entire 20 mins I was waiting to use another pump the store did answer their phone. I tried all 7 options no answer on any, when I attempt the operator I would simply get a message of no one available and put back in the loop to call another department.
Then once I finally get to done pumping, to my lack of surprise there was no paper in the pump for my receipt.
Again I have to go see the attendant, same girl, who this time is just playing on her phone. I was standing there for less than a minute before she realized It. I'm unsure if it is her job to make sure pumps that aren't working are blocked off, and they have paper in them, at others bjs I have seen the attendant doing these things.
I have no way of knowing how the managers would of handled this situation because there was no way to get through to them. And judging by the customer service level of the only employee I interacted with I doubt the management...
