NSI Insurance Group — Local services in Miami Lakes

My company's experience with NSI Insurance Group was extremely negative. We discovered NSI via Chubb's "Agents and Brokers" portal. Initially spoke with Jim McCue, who seemed helpful and was fairly responsive. However, as soon as we decided to move forward with an application for a package of commercial liability policies, we were effectively pawned off on a 23-year old "senior associate," Chase Foote, who was as unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful as anyone I've encountered in a professional capacity in nearly 15 years as an attorney. On a call with me and our company's Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Foote was haughty, arrogant, and condescending...all while demonstrating time & again that he was unprepared and unfamiliar with our company or our recently-submitted application. For this young man to treat two senior executives of a multinational, multimillion-dollar e-commerce company with such disrespect -- particularly when we're on the verge of letting his company underwrite approx. $10 million in assorted liability coverage -- was utterly appalling.

Following this horrendous experience, I left a voicemail message for Mr. McCue, briefly describing his colleague's lack of professionalism and outright awful customer service; I offered Mr. McCue the chance to call me back to try and salvage the relationship and reassign our file to another NSI associate, but he did not return my call.

There are far too many competitors in the insurance agency space, particularly in Central and South Florida, for NSI to treat potential clients this way. I urge anyone researching these companies and weighing their options to avoid working with NSI Insurance Group if at...
