Short version: I’m an avid Starbucks drinker, but this location has poor service and terrible tasting coffee/food.
Full version: I used to come here because it was the one nearest my home - hated going every time, would only go if I absolutely wanted a coffee in the hopes it would be better. Since then, I’ve moved and go to other, much better, Starbucks locations. Today, however, I found myself in the same area, hungry and in need of something quick - I figured I’d give it one last try. And, oh, will this be the last try! The service? Horrific. The staff refuses to shoot someone a smile and seems utterly inconvenienced by their customers. The quality of the coffee/food? Burnt, to put it simply.
I ordered a tall cappuccino with almond milk and a cinnamon raisin bagel. My coffee had to be remade as I was given a “Frappuccino” instead. Now, that’s a simple mistake and could happen to anyone, but it appeared as if I completely ruined the server’s day by politely letting him know that I had ordered something else. He did let me keep the icy drink and proceeded to make it again. No apology, no courteous smile. In the meantime, the other gentleman warming up my bagel appeared as if he would’ve rathered died then properly cut it in half. He popped it in the toaster, burned it to a crisp, and then handed me a practically blackened bagel. I took it, not wanting to be more of a bother to any of them. Then, I received the corrected coffee - a watery cappuccino, which I couldn’t even finish.
I tried to make the most of it, I was seated at the bar, smiling and trying to be nice to them as they seemed to be annoyed/tired by EVERYONE there. More people kept appearing, asking them to fix their respective orders - which the servers would do with anything but a smile on their faces.
I don’t usually write reviews, but I think the way they treat their customers needs to be wholly improved as it directly impacts the quality of the items being served and the mood of the person they are serving.
I just think it would not kill...
Read moreI truly love this place! Coffee is always good, plus they already know how I like it (that's a plus). I visit this location several times a week and I have never had a problem with my order. The reason for the 3 stars is because since I am a regular costumer (like most of the people that visit this location) I like to chitchat with the employees while they are working on my order, just like most people do. I have during the period of the last year that this one employee keeps constantly giving orders to other employees in a very unprofessional tone (a high sign of micromanagement) and most of the times it makes the costumer feels uncomfortable since we are the spectators of such behavior. I have several times seen costumer go away like if they were also told to stop talking to the employee. Today it happened to me, I was enjoying my drink when I made a comment to an employee that came near me while he was arranging things around and this other employee that I am talking about told him to stop talking to me and do his "friking" job. I felt insulted since that was very disrespectful towards me as a costumer and sorry for the other employee that looked embarrassed about the situation. I grabbed my drink and left but very displeased. It is a shame that a place where most employees always smile at the costumers while working on their orders and make us feel like friends in a fast paced but harmonious place have employees that disrespect others in front of the costumers showing lack of interpersonal skills and professionalism. I hope management does something about this because I have observed many people leaving the place unhappy and uncomfortable due to...
Read moreI've been a loyal customer of Starbucks for years, and I've always appreciated the quality of service and the teamwork among the staff. However, my recent visit left me deeply disappointed. The coffee bar was clearly understaffed, with only one barista, Gman, handling the overwhelming demand. It was disheartening to witness the lack of support from his colleagues. Tori and Tara offered a fleeting glance, only to disappear into the back, and the manager's presence was equally unhelpful.
It's disheartening to see a once-great company falter due to a lack of teamwork and a disregard for customer service. Gman, on the other hand, deserves immense praise for his dedication and ability to manage the chaos with such professionalism. He is a true asset to Starbucks, and I hope his efforts are recognized and...
