Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Miami Township

All but 3 tables are dirty and the place is almost empty. The Fries are perfect thin crisp and tasty. The speed of service was great. The burger is cooked perfect as far as smash burgers go. I JUST WISH I could taste it... I like mustard but the burger was slathered in it... they should try a portion bottle cause this seems like a spatula slathered it on. The Hotdog is a good. The bun is butter toasted nicely as its a split coney roll. I had it with just mustard. For $4.50 it's time they upgraded the hotdogs to a Jumbo Vienna as its a bit anemic. I was hoping they had the Chicago Dog but alas was not on menu board. Overall cleanliness is a issue here and the food is ok as it may be hit or miss. Today could have been a hit, but zomg so much mustard. I recommend asking for light mustard. I'm just finishing up this review and a 2 car group of 11 people came in. They had to wipe off their own table with the one ladies sanitizer wipes. It's 3:25 on a Saturday and two girls are on the patio on break. If management see was proactive they would not be allowed to break till the lobby was clean. Note I ordered at 3 pm And only 1 person and his two kids came in. Before this group at 3:25 So the two girls have been on break before 3pm and are now coming back at 3:30. It's 3:35 the family group is gradually getting their food. Funny thing is no one is being sent to clean lobby. 3:40 the family has their items and still no one sent to clean the lobby.. So we can say for sure that this lobby has not been cleaned for over an hour. As it has so many dirty tables. Ps the guy and his two kids picked the least dirty booth and wiped off his own table...

Let me explain furtherabout my self so hopefully their operation magner understand how much they should recognize their staff. I have 15 years in resturant management. It so hard now days to find resturant with staff thay actually want to give the customer what they want. So here the break down. I wanted a BLT on a bun so bad but I didn't want to just take the steak burger off and pay 11$ for some veggies and 3 pieces of bacon. So I asked could we subsitute the burger for double bacon. The manager instead of say no ma'am we can't do that he was so optimistic to make it happen. In the process of ringing it up the kitchen came up to get clarification on what they was making. I was throwing them off a tad. But the manager gave them excellent instructions on what to make. I stood at the counter waiting on my food and the gentalman thay was getting my fries together communicated thay they was waiting on the fries we continue to talk about the new orange cream and lemon cream. He said he had not tried but Emily stepped in and said the orange cream is so good and she suggested it. I sat down and ate my food the gentalman thanks me for ordering. As I was eating I am very observant, one thing I notices not one person was on their phone. They was not busy at the time any other resturant I would be at every one would be standing around on their phones. The resturant was incredibly clean the fries was fresh and hot. The blt that could have made or break my day was seriously so good.

Freddy corporate you all have the ingredients just put the BLT as a menu option...

Walked in was pleasantly greeted from the manager. He explained to me what kind of place they were asking what they were known for. He said they were known for their custard and their burgers. Then he offered me one of the new burgers which was a steak burger. I asked if he would make it exactly the way he mentioned it to me but instead of the tomato sauce that was going to be on it switched that out with 1,000 island. He asked me if I wanted to order a fries and I got a glass of water and one scoop of chocolate custard with some fudge on it. It was absolutely wonderful. I would highly recommend this place. For those of you that like to go to Culver's cuz you really love their custard but there's no culvers around. If you see a Freddy's get in there, it is a great opportunity and really good food. For those of you that miss having a steak and shake around get into Freddy's. They have all the stuff steak and shake had but instead of the regular ice cream they have the custard so it's so much better. So much full of flavor and I'm telling you what the atmosphere was great. The place was clean. The bathroom was clean. The floors were kept up a nice. I'm telling you this manager has his act together. He's working on becoming the the district manager to train other people how to operate their stores in this area.
