Food was good but the way they do business is like no other place I have been. First , you have two waitresses, one for the drinks and one for the food. The drinks waitress was great, very attentive and quick, checking on us after serving the drink. The food waitress, not so much.
Be aware, after the food waitress takes your order, they will ask you to pay for your food upfront, even when you dine in. They asked for my CC, put it in her device, and handed me the device for me to sign. Well right there, the app asks you for the tip. So you have to decide, do I give them a tip now without knowing how their service will be or do I risk not giving a tip now and having them think that they are not going to receive a tip from me knowing that they are going to handle my food? Well, so trying to avoid bad service, I left a 18% tip upfront. Well, guess what? The service was bad the rest of the evening. After the food waitress brought our food she did not check on us again, ever. We wanted to order more food but could not because they never came to our table again. We told somebody else, it looked like the owner, maybe, that we wanted to order more food, and they said that they were going to send the waitress. Well, I guess they never did because the waitress never came. Once they had their tip, they did not have to work for it and we suffered...
Read moreWhen you think 'Yellow Springs' you probably don't think taco's, however after going here once the thought will live rent-free in your brain. Miguel's Tacos has a rare symbiotic relationship with Trail Town Brewing, but the partnership works wonderfully. They both share a single building but this means that you can get great tacos and a local pint at the same time. The only downside is that you have to pay twice but that singular downside is definitely outweighed by the food itself. All the ingredients are handmade/prepared in house which makes for really fresh food. I had tacos for the first time i went there and definitely recommend the carnitas and this pork pineapple combination they have. The second time i went there i had a quesadilla and tbh it has to be one of the best I've ever had. If you're just going there for a quick lunch during work Trail Town Brewing also has non-alcoholic options other than water so no worries about those with an aversion to tacos and water. I have gone to this place multiple times and plan to go here more...

If you’re anywhere near Yellow Springs, do yourself a favor and stop by Miguel’s Tacos! It’s a flavor experience you won’t forget.
I’ve been hooked on their carne asada tacos from the start. The meat is always tender, smoky, and perfectly seasoned. It’s my go-to order every time. But on my last visit, I decided to branch out and try the birria tacos, and wow, they were divine. Rich, juicy, and packed with that slow-cooked, savory depth that makes birria so special. Dunking them in that consommé was next-level.
We also shared a plate of nachos and a chicken quesadilla—both were generously portioned and bursting with fresh, bold flavors. The nachos are loaded but never soggy, and the quesadilla is golden crisp on the outside and oozing with cheese and juicy chicken on the inside.
Miguel’s is not just good, it’s the best taco spot in Ohio. Bold claim? Maybe. But one bite and you’ll understand why. Flavor, freshness, and that perfect balance of spice and comfort—this place nails it every...
