I went here with my family on Mother's Day. Knew it was going to be a busy day, which is why we made a reservation. Arrived at the restaurant and they did not have our table ready. After waiting 20 minutes with no update, we finally asked and they simply stated that "another party has been here for a long time and we are waiting on them to get up." Multiple people without reservations continued to enter the restaurant and were seated immediately. After approx 45-50 minutes of waiting, we were finally seated. The table that they sat us at for a party of 8 was entirely too small. They had shoved 2 tables together that were different heights which also made the seating arrangement very awkward. We asked to move to another table within view that was better suited for our party but just needed to be cleaned off. The manager stated that we could move there but he did not have a server for that table able it would be a little while before someone could clean it off. He then went to go sit down instead of assisting his staff and helping clean it off himself. When it was finally cleared we moved. Our server was actually very good. She was nice and meant all of our needs as best as she could. However, we waited entirely too long for our food. By the time we moved to the other table, much of the restaurant had cleared out, yet we still waited over an hour for our food to arrive. The manager did not stop by to check on us or make any accommodations. The air conditioning in the restaurant was apparently not working well either, so it was sweltering and uncomfortable. As we were leaving, a member of my party overheard the hostess rudely state that "it isn't her fault or her problem that people make reservations and can't get seated when they want to." Apparently, there was another group arriving who decided to leave after waiting too long for their table to be ready. Hostess was just nasty for no reason at all. We will not be returning to...
Read moreMe and my son visited the restaurant for a Saturday day out lunch around 3:00-3:30. Our waitress was pleasant but never gave us her name. She came to the table often asking was everything OK did we need anything else, I asked for some extra napkins which never brought back to the table. After our meal she brought us back our receipt without asking if we wanted any desert. At that time our order was $31.46 after talking she went back to add the desert which was good at check out she brought the receipt back and it was $41.46 I gave the waitress $60.00 when she came back she acted as though she didn't know how much change I was supposed to get back and more than likely thought I wasn't gonna count my money. She gave me $13.50 laid it on the table and just walked away shorting me $5.14 I was very displeased calling her back over to the table. After speaking with her and letting her know she didn't give me all my money back she said I'm so so sorry and went into her tip bag that was tied around her waist and gave me my change instead of going to the register. At that point I was concerned cause that indicated to me that she took it upon herself to tip herself instead of letting me tip her she took my money without my permission. She said I didn't mean to do it I've been working here for 17 years and my response was then you know better to do what you did. I told her I was about to lay a $30.00 tip on the table for you, but you took it upon yourself to keep my money and tip yourself, so I pray it was a lesson learned cause I took my $30 off the table and put it back in my pocket and me and my son walked out. That's stealing and I wonder how many other customers she cheated out of their money yesterday. I will not ever walk in this restaurant ever again because of the action this senior waitress took to...
Read moreWe went to Red Lobster today around 5, it looked to be about half full. The person seating people looked like they were hating the job, mumbled to us, both or table, I said table and then acting like they were doing us a great favor, showed us to the booth. I don't like sitting in the bar or by the work stations, this booth was in the bar and right beside a drink/workstation. I asked the person seating us about a different booth and they stated 'that's the one', I asked about all the empty booths beside the bar and they said that area is closed and walked away. It took a couple of seconds for what had just happened to sink in and I went to the hosting stand and said that the spot we were seated at was unacceptable, the seating person stated 'that's all there is', I asked " they're no other booths in this whole place"? Then they're asking me "what's wrong with it' and starting to argue about it. I ask them "should I go some where else'? They shrug they're shoulders, which I take as , whatever. Then this person tells me to wait while they seat some other people and comes back just to seat us in the booth right beside the other end of the workstation. Now they've just pissed me off and on the way out I told the manager what happened and stated we would have probably spent $80-$100, which is not hard to do anymore. The manager tried to work something out but it was too late. How many other customers has this happened to and they never say anything. It'll be a long time before we ever go back to this...
