Seems all the elementary school-aged kids my boys hang out with love these trampoline parks. We’ve celebrated 2 birthday parties here and overall had an amazing time because we had fun and enjoyed ourselves with our friends and family.
First party - oldest son turning 11 party in December, later party started at 8 PM but we ended up pleasantly surprised because the black lights and vibe was pretty cool. BUT if you go with a late weekend party keep in mind that there will be pre-teens/teenagers hanging out in small groups, some lacking respect, possibly kicking property for no reason at all such as the front doors.. that’s why the front door makes a weird clicking sound if ya stand near it long enough to notice lol, teens likely coupled up being mushy and “in love” in random areas (storage cubes upfront for some reason)…also the older kids seem to lose sight of the trash cans once lights go out because there’s noticeably more trash cluttering the storage /game area floor during evening hours. Lastly, we had to track down our party host multiple times to request pizza included with party and other random things.
Pros to evening party - Cool black lights, smaller crowd, less little kids running through, if you prefer taking charge and handling the party yourself then this is a great choice all around!
2nd party - 10th birthday party in April at 4 PM host was much more organized and involved. Cleaning seemed more routine, no kissy/ disrespectful teens this time.
Cons- no cool black lights, more of a crowd, if there’s a party scheduled after yours you’ll be more on a schedule but luckily ours was the last in that specific room for the day and attendant was chill allowing us to leave as we pleased as long as the party was checked out/ paid for.
I think despite the mess and disappointing behavior from teens, we still favored the later party because the atmosphere was just fun and didn’t have to worry about tripping over the littles running around everywhere.
Stuff to keep in mind despite what time your party is- bring something to cut your cake with from home, and possibly the pizza too cause our pizzas were not cut very well at all during either party, bring plastic ware for convenience (they can provide you with a paper cup full of forks if you ask but I feel it’s easier to be prepared) , extra napkins not a bad idea, remember your lighter for cake candles if needed. And if all your jumpers don’t show up and a guest who did show up paid for a sibling to get in too, ask the party host for a refund for the guest who had paid for a sibling and they likely will without any problems. Check your room for a party schedule hanging up near the door, and set an alarm on your phone to know when to direct guests back to the room for a pizza/cake/gifts. If any kids get socks that don’t fit, go back up front to request a different size and they’ll give you another pair (they can’t take back the socks that were too small/big though so just keep them in the party room as extras in case another kid gets the wrong size too?)
As long as you’re prepared, don’t expect toooo much out of your party host, organize your event well, and invite a good group of friends/family you’ll have a fantastic time!
Hope this helps! Have a...
Read moreOur son (5 yrs old, autistic) was invited to his friend's birthday party at get air. We were looking forward to it because we had never been there. We were disappointed the second we approached the desk when the young employee asked/yelled if we had signed the waiver. Now mind you, I wasn't even completely at the desk yet when he said this. I said that I had filled out the waiver online and that we were there for a birthday party. He gruffly told me to step down to the 2nd register. She looked at me, asked for the birthday boy's name, then my son's name and yelled to my son to give her his wrist. My son is autistic and doesn't like wrist bands. The girl seemed miffed that I explained to my son that in order to jump, he had to wear a band. Your employees need to learn about autism and how to be patient with kids. My son had a blast jumping around and having fun with his friends. I noticed that there were 2 employees, both young girls leaning against a pole talking. I said something to my husband about it and he said that they were supposed to be keeping an eye on the kids, making sure everyone follows the rules. I laughed out loud and told my husband that was hilarious because I saw at least 2 kids jumping with suckers in their mouths. That right there is a major safety concern! Don't you think? Why are your employees allowed to stand around talking on company time? Yes, I realize people have to sign a waiver in order to enter your park but in this day and age when people are so sue happy, I'd be scared that my employees were being negligent on the job. After seeing that, I doubt I will ever bring my son back, and that's a shame since he had...
Read moreI’ve been coming to get air for a while now with my son oasis , every time I’ve been here there has been this guy with a bag over his shoulder who I always see working hard . Last time he was working but also playing with some kids in the foam pit as he was working which I really appreciated bc I couldn’t play with my son due to an injury I recently had . I found out they call him “Ross the Boss” . Most the time he is working by himself and there are a ton of things going on not to mention a ton of kids playing which he handles very well every time I have been here . He always has a great attitude and is very welcoming to customers . I know if it was me I’d be super stressed out handling all the things I’ve seen him so at one time . He also makes an effort to walk around and ask parents and kids “how they are doing “ and if they’d like hand sanitizer. Even when it’s crazy busy . I didn’t know there was a review place until I was checking how late you guys were open and I have the time to do this now so I wanted to write this because he deserves it . Give this man a raise . Not a creeper like most weirdos and is great at what he does . Oh and he invited me and my family to come to Christmas Eve bc he was doing to be here hosting . What a guy , I’m half tempted to ask him to come work for my company bc of how good of a representation he is for yours . Merry Christmas and happy new year . You guys have a “ 1 of a kind “ person . Don’t lose him to someone like...
