If you want what you are use to at Penn Station, then say far far away from this location. This weekend we decided to get a favorite of ours from this location. I have been a customer for 6 years and to be honest it has been a hit or miss but after this experience, I AM DONE. While the customer service has been a huge issue , "timothy" needs to reevaluate his situation. It starts with us calling in the order: 1 tune sub, 1 Parmesan sub (10inch),& 1 large fry. When at that point we were told that they do not sell tuna salad anymore and they don't offer a 10 inch making us pay more for a "large" 12 sub. Okay we were concerned but we were really craving it. So I changed my beloved tuna salad to chicken salad and proceeded to pick it up. When we get home I genuinely thought it was a joke. The bread was not the usual fluffy, sweet texture but not a dry stale ciabatta like bread. The "chicken salad" smelled rancid and had a sour taste making it inedible. The parmesan was not the same quality and the fry seemed to be the table scrap based off of the size and the limp texture. *Note- that same night I called the Springboro location where they said they have not changed the bread and that they still sell tuna. Wow, what an experience with this specific location. Terrible service from the current GM(Randy) to the order taker who took our order. How does a restaurant mess up on the first order and then when we try a second time, mess up on that order as well. Now I understand that there will be mistakes, but you should learn from the first mistake to make sure second time will go well. Why do people have to be so disrespectful. Now there were multiple things wrong with the second order but the GM wouldn’t even let me get passed the first issue. Listen, who cares about your ranking in the United States, numbers are fabricated anyways. When there is a customer complaint, the job of a manager is to listen to what the customer is saying and find a way to fix it. So not only did the two orders in the span of a month get screwed up, now there is a disrespectful GM who feels the customers don’t matter and can hang up on people. I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a company that had extremely poor management. From the moment I walked in the store, it was clear that they had no idea how to effectively lead and support their team.
The management team consistently failed to provide clear guidance and direction, leaving employees feeling confused and frustrated. There was a lack of communication and transparency between employees.
Furthermore, there was a complete lack of accountability from the management team. They constantly shifted blame onto others and refused to take responsibility for their own mistakes. I can see a toxic culture where employees feel undervalued and unsupported in just 10 minutes in being in the store.
Overall, my experience with this company's poor management was incredibly disappointing. I would strongly advise anyone considering working with them to think twice or eating inside. It's clear that the management team lacks the necessary skills and qualities to lead effectively, and it's the employees and customers like me who suffer...
