Cute little bakery spot. My family was driving around 8th street and wanted to stop at a hispanic coffee shop for strong expresso, “Media Noche”, empanadas and guava and cheese pastries. We so happens to drive by the corner of 17ave and our eyes spotted this Bariloche. As we entered the shop, we were greeted. Floors and all was nice a clean. Large tv screen with menu items on display. There were 2 Hispanics working the counter. I was asked in Spanish what I’d like. I understand the language more, than I can speak it. So i responded in English; I asked for 2 expresso, 4 beef empanadas and 1 chicken empanada, I also ordered 3 guava and cheese. The lady had difficulty understanding me so I called my husband to help communicate my order to the lady. They seem to have a good understanding of what he ordered. We pay, we go. As I’m eating what I thought was beef empanada, ended up being cheese empanada. Ultimately, We were given 4 cheese and 1 chicken. I wasn’t completely disappointed bc the cheese was actually a pleasant texture. But bc I expected to eat beef, I was thrown off. Instead of going back to ask them to correct my order and exchange the cheese for beef. I decided I’d ordered 2 beef empanadas for the people that actually wanted beef (not cheese). The chicken empanada is a must try. The ladies seemed nice. They are trying their best. The cashier jokingly explained to my husband when she sees Americans, she gets nervous bc she don’t want to have any miscommunications and mess up food orders. It was not only my 1st time here, but my family’s as well. I like this place. We all enjoyed the food. I just wish the communication wasn’t such a barrier. Maybe next time I can use Google translate or point towards what I’m ordering if in person. Idk. Nevertheless, I’d recommend this place as the food was good.

After passing by this bakery countless times, I finally decided to stop in, and what a delightful surprise it was! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome. The enticing aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, tempting me to try a cup. I opted for the almond milk latte, and I must say it was the best I've ever tasted. The smoothness of the almond milk paired with the robust coffee flavor was simply perfect. And then, there was breakfast. Every bite was bursting with freshness and flavor, as if it had been lovingly prepared at home. Every detail, from the freshly baked bread to the homemade jam, exceeded my expectations. But what truly made my experience memorable was the exceptional service I received. The girl who served us was super friendly, sweet, and polite. She took the time to explain the menu and recommend her personal favorites. Her attention to every detail really made a difference. In summary, this bakery has earned a special place in my morning routine. It will definitely become my go-to spot for enjoying a delicious coffee and comforting breakfast every day. Thank you for the wonderful service and delicious food!"

The best variety of miga sandwiches. As an Argentine and vegetarian, it’s really hard to find miga sandwiches with no ham. They were very good and the bread was very fresh, So it was the ensalada rusa . They also carry all types of Argentine cookies and products i grew up consuming so it’s hard to don’t want to buy everything when i go there! Although it is mostly Argentine bakery, of course they cater to the location and they have cuban Pastries. Now based on other reviews, i have to comment, if u go there, expect it to be Argentine style, the pizza won’t be like Pizza Hut and the breakfast will not be 100% to the American standards. Try Argentine stuff and you won’t be disappointed !

I have been a regular customer for some time now, and while the empanadas have always been delightful, the overall experience has been inconsistent.

The bakery's pizza, facturas, and empanadas seem to be made from the same dough, creating a lack of variety in taste. Despite this, I continued to visit due to the delicious empanadas. However, my recent experiences left me feeling disappointed.

On several occasions, I encountered difficulties when trying to purchase breakfast on weekends. The new employees seemed hesitant to accommodate my request for media lunas with ham and cheese. Instead, they insisted on selling their Sacramento, which I found underwhelming due to the poor quality of the dough and consistently undercooked nature.

I believe that a simple solution would be to offer the option of adding ham and cheese to the media luna or allowing customers to purchase the ham and cheese separately. There were some old staff that will accommodate the requests. Regrettably, the new staff did not seem willing to accommodate this request after even asked them to sell the ham separately and that will do it my self, but not. This experience has ultimately led to my decision to discontinue my regular purchases. I want to clarify that any Argentinian bakery you go sells Media Lunas de Jamón y Queso.

As a customer who used to spend at least $150 every Saturday on empanadas, it's disheartening to feel as though my specific preferences are not valued. I hope they would consider addressing these issues to improve the overall...
