Review Title: A Memorable Dive into Authentic Cuban Flavors Review: Five stars seem insufficient to encapsulate my delightful experience at El Pub Restaurant in Little Havana, Miami. This quaint gem in the city's heart takes you on a culinary voyage to Cuba, offering a genuinely authentic feast. The food is simply sublime. I had the privilege to savor the Ropa Vieja, a dish that is not just food but an embodiment of Cuban culture, with its shredded beef simmered in a perfect blend of tomatoes, onions, and peppers. Each bite of this dish is complemented by soft white rice and hearty black beans, making for a symphony of flavors that resonates with comfort and home. The Empanada was stuffed generously with ground beef, and the intense Cuban coffee was equally memorable. The dishes were a testament to the kitchen's culinary prowess, genuinely epitomizing the essence of Cuban cuisine. While the decor might appear slightly dated at first glance, it adds charm to the place's vibrant murals, patriotic Cuban flags, and iconic checkered tablecloths. The quaint bar area and stools lend a friendly touch, painting a welcoming picture that instantly sets you at ease. Complementing the delicious food and charming decor is the delightful blend of Cuban and Latin music gently wafting through the place. It is neither overpowering nor soft, striking the right balance that allows for vibrant rhythms and comfortable conversations. El Pub's atmosphere is casually relaxed, making it a perfect spot to unwind with family or friends over a good meal. The service is efficient, with the staff extending warm hospitality that adds to the overall experience. El Pub Restaurant is more than just a place to grab a bite; it's an opportunity to immerse oneself in Cuban culture, surrounded by vivid decor, melodic tunes, delicious food, and genuine smiles. And even though the world outside changes rapidly, it seems that time within El Pub stands still, preserving the captivating allure of Cuban heritage. This Cuban culinary institution offers an unforgettable experience, from the food to the atmosphere. Its presence in Miami since 1994 has allowed it to perfect the art of creating authentic Cuban delights while extending genuine hospitality. It's an absolute must-visit for anyone looking to taste authentic Cuban cuisine in a laid-back, inviting environment. Finally, suppose there's one memory I would take back from El Pub. In that case, it's not just the exquisite taste of Ropa Vieja or the aroma of Cuban coffee but the heartwarming sense of belonging and contentment that El Pub Restaurant generously offers. This eatery is not just a restaurant; it's a delightful slice of Cuba in Miami. Five stars all the way!

Stopped by Little Havana during my visit to Miami and this was my first stop. I came by after the lunch rush, so there was plenty of seating. The ambiance was nice, a lot of art and designs, and there was A/C! I was invited to sit wherever I wanted to. I came with the intention of just trying their empanadas and hopping to another restaurant to try more, but saw they had some specials. They had a Monday special on Ajiaco, which is described as a traditional Cuban stew on the menu. They also had $5 Mojitos on Mondays. So I decided to try the Ajiaco, get a Mojito, and decided to get 3 empanadas since the ones I previously have had were on the smaller side. I got the Mojito first and it was incredible! The best Mojito I have ever had. Maybe it was just the Miami heat getting to me since I am not used to the weather. But for my palate, the Mojito had the right balance of mint, citrus, and sweetness. Next, the Ajiaco. I have no basis for comparison, but I thought it was delicious. The stew was flavorful and the meat melted in my mouth. Lastly, the empanadas. If I wanted to restaurant hop, I could have done with just 1 empanada - I was stuffed with 3. They were really decent sized empanadas and generously filled. But I'm glad I got 3 as it gave me the chance to try different kinds. I had ordered the carne, lechon, and jamon y queso. Needless to say, I had to walk around for a while to digest this meal before going to the next restaurant on my list. Overall, I was satisfied and thoroughly impressed. I even thought about order 2 or 3 empanadas to go for a snack later!

Long story short: just give them a try everything from service to food was amazing, no complaintAfter seeing a violinist in the window, I thought this would be a nice sit down, non fast food restaurant for our group to try some good Cuban food. Upon walking in, I was immediately greeted by a female server point me to a booth. I told her we had a group of seven. A gentleman (later learned it was the owner, Joe Riviera) greeted me and asked for 2.5 minutes to get a table ready. He didn’t disappoint, we had a table in no time. Coming to Florida from California, the only thing I knew was I wanted a real Cuban sandwich and a good mojito. After studying the menu for a bit, I asked Joe and Andre their suggestions for good Cuban food. My mom and I took their suggestions, while the rest of the family ordered what looked good to them. I have to say, everything came out amazing. The food was delicious, the service was fantastic, the ambiance was also great. When I was asking Joe for his name for this review, we got to talking about his history and everything, it is really nice to see an owner not only engaged in their business, but I could tell the amount of heart and love that goes into making it successful family business. Huge shout of to Kevin, the violinist. I couldn’t help but dance and sing along to myself from my seat…it was a treat.
