I came for breakfast to this place and the experience was just horrible. First of all I’m in the F&B business. So I know exactly what I mean. The special of the day was Morocho, I order it thinking going to taste a Ecuadorian morocho!! What I got was something made of corn meal boil with milk and few morocho grains by the way very watery. It wasn’t morocho at all, over priced 17 dollars for a cup of flour boiled with milk excuse me but the price is so ridículos. As a second dish I order Ayaca it was taken from the frizzer and definitely defrost in a microwave, totally dry no flavor at all, with chunky pieces of Chicken, untasted something that for sure was purchase 2 weeks ago completely wired, I finished with a Bolon de Quezo, Please don’t offer it to an Ecuadorian from Manabi, it was just ok nothing spectacular, at home I make better Bolon than this by the way it was cold. So sorry about it but experience was a disaster I just don’t recommend this place for any one actually not for Ecuadorians it is just some food but it is not Ecuadorian food. Food Poor quality Price Over priced Service It was ok

Read moreThe worst experience ever... I've tried 5 times (possibly) only 1 was OK... The last time ordered the caldo de bola, which I noticed right away it was old and tasted rancid. The server had the guts to give me the nastiest attitude and pretended to brain wash me that there was nothing wrong with the food. Finally he admitted was bad after talking to "the chef" (I doubt is a professional chef). I ordered something else instead... and guess what... IT WAS EVEN WORSE... the server said. Don't worry leave it there I wont charge you. I said fine. I asked for my check: oh surprise... was charging me for the soup!!! REALLY PEOPLE??? I WAS WILLING TO PAY THE APPETIZERS THAT ME AND MY BUDDY HAD. But the server couldn't have enough guts to say. Be thankful I'm charging you the smaller amount of them 2 (main entrees) REALLY WHATDAF......??? He started to have a fit and kicked us out of restaurant even we were going to pay for the freaking appetizers. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PEOPLE??? the owner is never there I tried to contact them and they NEVER face or confront their problems.
Avoid at all costs! We heard from friends this restaurant isn’t the best. However, my husband and I were craving Ecuadorian food, so we gave it a try. He got so sick that he said he would never return to this place! Yesterday February 20, 2024, I wanted to give a second chance to this restaurant and brought my mother. The food wasn’t bad this time. However, we finished eating and the waitress took our cards, my mom asked her for “Queso Chonero”. We got two pieces for $26, the waitress a Salvadorian lady never brought the check, but she since she took our cards she decided to charge our cards, when we did the math things were not making sense, we requested her to bring the original check. She brought the check, and we realized she added the cheese on our original check to get more on a tip, since is an “automatic” 20% tip. Very convenient to add $26 MORE to get a bigger percentage for her tip! She thought we were not going to realize what she did. That’s not being smart, that’s stealing. that’s illegal! It’s like we go to the supermarket to get cheese and get charged 20% for buying cheese. she acted like we were saying something crazy and said the system doesn’t let her make any return. We were wondering how many people have done that? Many people don’t check the check. So sad to receive this service and see they take advantage. We will...
