Howling Wolf Bar & Eatery — Restaurant in Miami

Don’t usually leave 1 star reviews on newer businesses, but after spending $100 on food here I feel this is some constructively critical feedback management needs to hear….

Unfortunately not one dish was good:

-The shrimp tacos were packed with cold coleslaw which overpowered the shrimp and made the grilled tortillas cold and soggy.

-the Caesar salad tasted like any basic lettuce tossed with store bought dressing and croutons.

-the “Crispy” Honey Pork Ribs were not crispy by any stretch, served lukewarm and just overall not cooked well.

-Worst of all was the “Mediterranean Octopus” which was very poorly cooked and also lukewarm as if it’d been sitting out a few minutes before being brought to our table. We respectfully pointed this out to our server because it was completely unappetizing, and instead of owning up to it by at LEAST offering to remake it (any service-oriented business would offer this or a removal from the tab), he doubled down and argued “I wouldn’t serve you anything that isn’t fresh” then left us with a dish we clearly were unsatisfied with and offered zero remediation. This isn’t our first time having octopus so we’re confident in the fact this dish was very below par.

What a let down considering all the good reviews. Personally won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend to others if you’re coming...
