OQP Vacations Miami — Hotel in Miami

I stayed 2 nights there. Gerson, the owner, is great! He speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese. If you need anything or have any questions, you can always go to him and ask. It's true that the place is not visually appealing, but the owner is still making some modifications to the place, so it's coming together!

This hostel has a little kitchen, a cute outdoor patio, 2 bathrooms, 3 rooms with 4 beds in each of them I think and lockers to leave your valuables (relatively small so you cannot put all your luggage, but laptops can still make it in). There's not a lot of people staying at the same time (small hostel), so it's easier to make friends! The bedding is comfortable, and there is AC in every room. Yes, it's next to a club, but hostels are not hotels, so bring ear plugs (there's some at the entrance anyways). You can rent a scooter too if you want!

Location: very well located to visit Wynwood and go out in bars, restaurants or clubs of Wynwood. At a 15 minutes walk of Miami Metro Mover (free) that can get you downtown.

Overall appreciation: I loved my time there! If I ever go back to Miami, I will definitely stay there again! I would recommend to anyone going to Miami.

Gosh I love this place it was my 1st hostel ever and seeing the movie hostel kinda made me feel like it was going to be like that but it wasn’t thank god. The staffs are amazing great they work very hard to keep this place clean and they speak in variety of languages so don’t be afraid to ask a question and they are very friendly and respectful. And for the price of the stay is worth every penny and creating new friendships here are better than the hostels at Miami Beach. If I ever need a hostel I’d always pick this place no matter where I need to go this place is...

Do not do it. You have been warned.

There are sketchy people living there and running the place. The pictures are a lie. It stinks. Literally. Smells of mold, feet, and unbathed people. The main bath does not have hot water. The other bath is so small you have to stand in the shower to open the door.

The people running it do not care and are indifferent.

And to boot - there is an open-air outdoor night club directly next door and the music is so loud mon - fri. * You will not get any sleep.
