Overall, I'd say the food we received at this location was fairly good. The plantain cups with the leche de tigre was the best part, and I would definitely recommend that to others. Unfortunately, the most disappointing part of our experience was our service. I first ordered a Purple Haze drink, thanks to our server's recommendation. My friend and I then each ordered the same kind of sushi, but made it clear we wanted 2 orders and not to share just one order. When the sushi came out, we noticed we had received 2 different kinds of sushi rather than 2 of the same kind as originally requested. Since we were in Miami for one day as part of our vacation and this was a special occasion for us, along with not liking the toppings on the other sushi, we decided we would kindly request the kind of sushi we had initially requested (with the understanding that no rush was needed and we were willing to wait). When I went inside to tell our server, she made me feel like our request was an overreaction, offered no apology and appeared to be angry. Because this was the only time in my life I decided to send something back, her reaction ultimately impacted our entire dinner experience. I did not even mention the drink I ordered (Purple Haze) was never received, assuming that the server may have been understaffed and trying their best. At the end of the day, the mistake was remedied and we enjoyed the sushi we ordered. The last part of our experience that was frustrating was after our request, interaction with our server was sparse. It took a while to get her attention for our bill, about 45 minutes. In the end, a different server brought us our bill and our server never...
Read moreWhenever we go to a show at the Arsht Center we always try to go earlier, so we can get a bite to eat before the show and also avoid traffic and issues with parking. Around there you don’t have many choices but yesterday I have found my absolute favorite for now, this is Ceviche by Divino, it is only one block from the Arsht Center, it is a very small place, nothing fancy, it is like a Gastropub with new fresh and exciting Peruvian food, I LOVED IT !!!!! We tried the Ceviche Mixto (Corvina and seafood) really good and then some Tapas, the Crispy Cilantro Rice with Salmon, Porkbelly and the Causa Ganadora, OMG ………. these were soooooooooo good and to finish we had Lucuma fruit ice cream with some sort of dumplings, very fresh and super tasty. The service was great, Diana very friendly and helpful in recommending dishes given it was the first time we went there, they also have more locations in Miami Beach, Miami Springs, Fort Myers and Pembroke Pines, I cannot wait to go back and try more @cevichesbydivino For more of my favorite restaurants, places and more, like my Facebook page Naddia’s Favorites or follow me on Instagram...
Read moreKind of disappointed with this place First off the food is so delicious, It’s delicious I tried it for the first time last week today I asked my friend what she wanted to eat and she chose this For the first time I said okay I don’t wanna go downstairs just bring it up— We spent $80 over all just for 2 people. As soon as my friend went to the apartment next door the cheap cups they put broke. We called to see if maybe they could make us new ones The manager said they”re not responsible. Not one but 2 cups were damaged completely even before Making It to the apartment. The mess we had to clean on wood floors was terrible I wish we got a picture but our main priority was cleaning it before we got to sit down to eat- we finally sit down and call them and they can’t even make an exception. It’s disappointing that they don’t really know how to treat their customers. Cause before that I would probably have gone back & back & back but after today I probably won’t. Hopefully they get better customer service. We are not entitled clients- we genuinely had a mistake happen. You can see the tear in the cup before we even...
