Great place with a huge potential, and I am only giving 4 stars [they'd deserve 3] because we really need places like this in the area. I saw this place by accidentally driving by and I thought let's test it out for a Saturday date night. We walked in and ordered two beers at the bar. We were not told we get charged 18% service charge so we tipped the waitress as she only asked if we want to bill after we paid already. All good, this is Miami. We walked outside to the garden, a little confused because all the free tables seemed to be reserved, and the waitress did not care about if we find a spot to sit as this is the general vibe here: it's a garden, once you sit down to a table you get your tab assigned. Nice people though in general, many families, one of the guests helped us to allocate a free table. I summed up my experience as follows and hoping this will be taken as a constructive criticism. Pros: Great vibe! HUGE outside area, great for guests but challenging for the staff. Very friendly staff. You can tell they are really trying their best! Kuddos to the gentleman with curly hair who was running around like crazy being the only waitor distributing tbe food among all the guests. A random person walked in to beg for money but the manager was on top of him right away to nicely show him his way out. The live band that was playing (I think their name was The Collective) was amazing. They subbed for someone who failed to attend last minute. FREE Parking. A very impressive selection of locally brewed beers. CONS: It is Saturday 8 pm and 70% of the food menu is sold out. The food is cooked in a food truck. I honestly do not get it why the brewery even needs to get involved and have their staff handling the food distribution and charging. They could have the guests order their food at the food truck, pay it right there, get a buzzer and pick up their food when ready (Nikkei food truck does that at the Epoca brewery and it works well). After not having our food (chicharon de pescado and a burger) for 45 minutes I was trying to spot a waitress or waitor to ask what happened to our food when the waitress actually came by asking if we already got our dishes. We said no, and she went to check on it with the food truck right away...they forgot to make our food. When it finally came (almost an hour wait) the burger was cold. Once the bill came, they charged us $25.80 for a dish listed on the menu for $21 and $21 for a dish listed for $20. I kindy asked the waitress to clarify and she said she accidentally charged our food to a different menu (???) but didn't hesitate to fix the mistake.
We will most likely come back for the beer and watch the live band, but definitely not consuming the overpriced food...

Being a fan of craft beer and breweries we have visited pretty much every single brewery from Miami to Jupiter. And this is by far the #1 best of the best!
Most importantly the beer is solid! And they have a great selection to match anyoneās favorite type from IPA to Light. And according to the brew master they will be adding a lot more very soon. And for those who donāt like beer they have a good selection of wine as well.
Now what makes this place extra special is the place itself. There is NO brewery in all of South FL like this! A true ālegitā Beer Garden covered by a canopy of mature Live Oak and Banyan trees. Itās simply the perfect spot to enjoy a nice beer day or night. And they have endless seating options from large wood picnic tables to lounge chairs. And the beer garden is massive!
If you would rather enjoy your beer inside they got you covered on that as well. Super comfortable cushioned seats with bar seating, low and high top, bench seating. And plenty of space. There are several large TVs which can be easily viewed throughout, perfect for watching a game.
Like to play games? They got you covered on that too! Pool table, ping pong, cornhole, and more!
Lucky for us this place is literally a 1 minute walk from our office but if you are driving there is a huge free parking lot right next to the place and plenty of street parking all over. Unlike most breweries in Miami where parking is a mess, this place is as simple as it can be. No stress when finding a place to park here and at least in the lot it is free!
And finally, the hospitality and service was A++. For Miami and being only their 1st & 2nd day open for business you'd expect there to be issues but there was none whatsoever. The staff was amazing and attentive. From ordering to cashing out it was flawless. The owners are very active in this business and not ghosts CEOs. They have great plans for the future and are open to any suggestions for improvement. They mentioned they want to bring in a lot of entertainment by hosting concerts with a diverse mix of music genres, comedy night, and much more.
We are lucky to have a place like this in Miami!
Update been back here so many times canāt even count. And had to update this review for the new beer they just launched (which is amazing) and adding Meat N Bone for the food! The food was pretty good before but now itās at a whole nother level!
The Magic 13 keeps getting...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe visited on a rainy, dreary day in January. We enjoyed ourselves so much at this little brewery that the weather didn't matter. We picked Magic 13 because other reviews indicated parking was hassle-free, and that was correct, a large gravel lot east of the building belongs to Magic 13. Although, at first glance, that wasn't clear. Instead of signs in the gravel lot saying Brewery Parking, all the signs indicated Tow Away Zone. We walked in through the outdoor beer garden and asked the bartender, who told us we parked in the right place. We guessed right. We got right to the purpose of the visit, to try the beer. The menu featured a modest selection of 10 different styles of beer. The first one I tried, the Islander Lager was the best lager I've ever tasted, anywhere. My family had other favorites too, notably the Sushi Bar Rice Lager, and a couple of IPAs. Our bartenders and waitresses were friendly and efficient. As we walked in, we noticed a woman at a table with arts and crafts kits. We had two children under 10 in our party and this was perfect for them. The woman at the art table supervised them while they did the paintings. The art kits were not expensive. The kids loved the activity too. A food truck was present and our waitress was able to take both food and drink orders and present one bill at the end. Something to keep in mind, is that the bill automatically includes gratuities. The little screens they use for the credit card transactions take a bit of scrolling up and down to clearly show that. It's there, but a simple paper receipt would have been clearer for the customer to see. We had such a nice time here, we want to come back and enjoy the beer garden on a clear day, before the weather...
