I’ve been to this restaurant several times, and while the food was always decent, the place is usually empty—and now I know why. During my most recent visit, I ordered a chicken platter that I’ve had multiple times before. However, this time, as I bit into the chicken, I realized it was completely undercooked—pink, raw, and filled with veins and fat. When I cut into another piece, it was even worse.
I immediately called the server, who was very polite and suggested they remake the dish. However, an older lady, presumably the manager or owner, approached me and asked me to put the raw chicken on a separate plate so she could cook it again. I explained that I had already bitten into the chicken and spit it out, to which she responded, “The fire kills all of that.” I was utterly shocked and disgusted by her response.
I tried to explain to her that saliva can carry bacteria and viruses that aren’t necessarily killed just by reheating the food, especially given my background in biology. I asked if they could simply make a new chicken kabob, but she refused until the server intervened.
This was the most revolting dining experience I’ve ever had. Serving raw chicken is unacceptable, and the complete lack of understanding about basic food safety is alarming. I will not be returning, and I strongly advise others to be cautious when...
Read moreThe staff is very unprofessional and rude. My husband use to pick up food from there all the time and get it to go; but, after today, we will never eat from there again. I deceided to do uber eats today and I received an order from them, it took me four min. to get there. I didn't see any parking, all the parking was full. I drove around 3 times, still could not find parking, so, I went around back to see if I could park there. I was going to cancel. Someone from the restaurant called me and I told him that there was no parking and I was going to cancel, when I went back around for the fourth time, someone finally moved, so, I decided to not cancel and went ahead and parked and went in, before, I could get out of my car, the worker from the restaurant tried to call again, I went in and told him I was picking up an uber order. He was really nasty to me and told me that the food had been ready for a while. I told him that there was no parking, he said there is parking and pointed. I told him again that there was no parking and it was full when drove by. He pointed to a spot that said no parking will be towed and told me to tell that to...
Read moreA kitchen table, feeling of a relaxed home environment, friendly, caring personable service, delicious, authentic Greek dishes that are perfect portion sizes (although we have had to bring a couple of things home each time we've gone there, because we got greedy looking at their menu and ordered too much.) And reasonable prices. The food is not only delicious but healthful, fish, seafood, eggplant, feta cheese, yogurt, and other Greek delicacies. It is now our "go to place" when we eat out and want a good simple meal, with nice wines (or terrific, unsweetened ice tea,) and be able to have an audible conversation as we eat. We love this place and I think if you try it, you too will return often. We always make a reservation but you really don't have to. If you have to wait for a table, it won't be long and believe me it will be...
