I am only giving a 3 star review due to the lack of respect that was given to us. The food is ALWAYS amazing. It never fails and over all the customer service isn't bad. But there is one thing that IRKED my nerves so badly, it left me no choice but to speak my mind. When it came time to pay the bill my bill was $30 i handed the waiter $40.00 two $20 bill. He was young man with wings tattoo on hes neck. He was very nice and attentive waiter but this is something that needs to be address. Once he takes the money this young man NEVER brought back ANY CHANGE. I'm just here thinking the whole time this man just finessed me. Obviously, as a lot of us would do as well. we are not going to ask for the change after the waiter is already cleaning tables around us and acting like he was allowed to keep all our change. That's pretty embarrassing to ask. But he honestly pocked 27% tip with hes little scheme on a $30 bill. Incredible!!! Customers please make sure waiters do not take advantage of the situation. Ask for your change back! i guess this a new thing that we have to state for change back directly to their faces. After having an amazing dinner it sadly had to end not so amazing. I was going to leave the man a good...

Update! So I come here often but never have I had such a bad experience here! It was on 12-26-23 for dinner and we arrived at 7:05pm and we ordered our food about 5 to 10 minutes later, oh boy what a wait time waiting for our food! We didn't get our food until 7:55pm, in between the wait, we asked 3 different servers why is taking so long and I got the same answer, it's busy and I get that it's busy but to tell you the truth we never were approached by any of them and apologized for the delay! I constantly had to stop them and ask them, but the worst was when I asked for some ice for the drink since the ice now was water for waiting so long, he looked at me when I asked and he did a 180 and left, I was like? He just ignored my request, last time I check im also a paying customer not just the rest of the customers, it was so bad servers going to take orders from other tables and 1 table said they already ordered with someone else, other tables also wondering where was the food or why its taking so long, it was chaotic, disorganized and no awareness! so yeah worst experience ever, I have been coming here for more than 10 years!

2020: Food is really good, only the wait time is my only reason why 4 not 5. Carne...

If you're looking for an authentic Central American dining experience, El Paso Catracho is a must-visit. The moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and the inviting aroma of freshly cooked food. The atmosphere is cozy, making you feel like you're part of the family.

The highlight of our visit was definitely our server, Alex. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. His kindness, attention to detail, and knowledge of the menu made the experience even more enjoyable. He had great recommendations and was always attentive without being intrusive.

As for the food, the Salvadoran dishes were absolutely delightful. From the crispy pupusas to the flavorful tamales, each bite was a reminder of the rich culinary heritage of El Salvador. The flavors were bold yet balanced, and the portions were generous. Whether you're a fan of traditional Salvadoran fare or trying it for the first time, El Paso Catracho offers something for everyone.

Overall, El Paso Catracho delivers not only on taste but also on service, with people like Alex ensuring that your experience is as memorable as the food. Highly...

I ordered a "plátano llenado y un súper baleada" however they charged me SEPERATELY. It was listed as a No7 COMBO on their menu for $10.95 and came out to be $12.90 due to their greedy mishandling. Also keep in mind it was $5.98 for these 2 extremely small cups of horchata & maracuya. Insane prices for such small portions. On top of that, they charge YOU 15% GRATUITY AUTOMATICALLY to your bill. Turned out to be $5.07 tip automatically added on. ***Do not bother bringing your business here as the place is EXTREMELY GREEDY and dare I say, has HIDDEN FEES.***🤷🏽‍♀️ Clarification for receipt photo: (They even bother showing a “tip suggestion table” at the bottom as if they didn’t already just jip you.) As you can see the waitress’s name is apparently Karen, she puts her own tip in the computer, WE DIDNT ASK TO PUT A TIP AS THEY ALREADY HAVE A TIP JAR UPFRONT.

The place is clean and the staff is very courteous. We came because the baleadas were highly recommended. On their menu, the pupusas say it's their specialty, and with very good reason. They were really, really good. I haven't had a pupusa so tasty in years. However, the reason we came for, wasn't as good. I should have noticed that the meat baleadas do not read carne asada. The meat tasted ok, but I definitely prefer meat cooked over charcoal. Once again, if you like pupusas, you will not be disappointed. The other thing I didn't like was, I understand charging gratuities for parties more than 5, but even when it's only 2 people you'll get charged 18% in gratuities. That, if you don't pay attention, you'll get asked if you want to leave a tip. Once again, the staff is very friendly and nice so at least, for the service it was worth it.

LOVED this place. The quality of every dish that came out was superb. Great example of Honduran food. The restaurant although fairly large was packed to the brim for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Our waiter was very sweet and took his time with us, we aren't used to ordering Honduran food, so a lot of questions were asked. I ordered the beef soup or sopa de res, they only had one serving and three of us ordered. So we let my mom take it. She loved it. I ordered the carne asada as my second choice and I wasn't upset. The dish came with rice, a coleslaw salad, maduros (plantains), a slice of avocado, refried beans, a slice of white cheese, and two tortillas!! Talk about yummy leftovers. The steak had an amazing taste and was juicy. I cannot wait to come back to try more dishes.
