At the time of purchase, everything seemed fine. Within 6 hours however, I thought the PAIN in my stomach was going to KILL me. I went to this GroveGate location of Taco Bell in Coconut Grove. I don't live in this area of South Florida any more, but I was hungry and a smothered burrito (only on the website menu) sounded good to me.
Everything seemed FINE except the Burrito had practically ALL RICE in it. Almost NO BEEF in it whatsoever. WHY DO THE EMPLOYEEES DO THIS? Have you actually asked yourself the question? What is there to accomplish by cheating the customer? Good GOD!! Anyway, within about 6 hours I was doubled over in PAIN. The stomach pain became so bad (in waves), I was forced to go to the E.R. at Holy Cross hospital back up in Fort Lauderdale.
After waiting for the attention of the E.R. doctor, and getting some pain medication I.V. I felt better. They gave me several PROCEDURES to rule out pancreatitis, blockage, gall stones, appendicitis, etc., we just waited for test results. They came back negative. Then a funny thing happened at about 5:30am -- 12 hours after consuming the Burrito. Funny taste in my mouth. I ran to the sink in the ER room and the food shot out my throat and mouth like a bullet. I blew chunks. It was the damn burrito....POISON!! This is the 3rd time over the years that I have been sick from Taco Bell food. Stay AWAY!! The employees don't care about HYGIENE or food sitting out, getting cold and FULL OF BACTERIA and TOXINS. They do NOT CARE....

December 5, 2022 at 10:30am, we drive up to get breakfast, there is no one in the line so we think its going to be quick, but after getting to the speaker to order I see why no one was there! First the guy there tells us "order at the window" we move up to the window and wait like 3 minutes before he pops his head out, the whole time I can see a lady over a grill talking to someone who is on the side, the man who is suppose to be taking the order. We honked and he came out and says "yeah" thats it, we told him he instructed us to order at the window and he told us "no I said wait a minute" and then told us "you have to go back around to the speaker to order now", I was so disgusted, there was no one there and due to his miscommunication he wanted us to circle back around to order just because he wanted to finish his conversation with the other employee. He needs to be fired, seriously, he was very condescending as if he really didnt care, no customer service what so ever. I hope corporate reads this and check the logs of what employee was working the drive thru on this date and time. He is making this restaurant location loose money. I would rate this a zero, not...

There was an episode about 2 years ago, it's about 11pm, I'm in the drivethru, it took like 25 minutes to order and a little more than 50 minutes to get to the window, pay and receive my food. And of course the drive-thru is narrow and mostly "closed in" so you can't exit the line until you're almost at the window, so once you enter the line, you're committed. With that in mind I asked them what kind of refund or coupons they were going to give me for waiting 50 f'ing minutes, they said nothing. I left, ate my food (which had a discrepancy with what I actually ordered) and I soon contacted my bank, they reversed the entire charge based on my complaint. I tried to work it out with their corporate office first, they never responded to my contact form via the internet. So now I only go here during the day. No complaints about the daytime.
