So I haven't checked in or written a review in a while but this joint here inspired me to leave one today. I was working a few blocks away and I know this area really well since I've worked around here for 21 years. Now I know some restaurants or food trucks come and go so one may miss on a good place because you think you know the area. I yelped and this one popped up on top and though I've been to that location before, this joint is new to me. Ok about the food.... tried the shrimp, steak and carnitas tacos and the Gringa quesadilla with brisket since they didn't have chorizo at the time which was fine for me because I got to try their most delicious brisket. I don't like onions or cilantro and l'm aware that these add flavor and authenticity to the tacos but let me tell you something..these tacos were so well seasoned and flavorful that just the tortilla with the protein and that authentic corn tortilla was enough for me. Not sure which sauces I got but man were these tacos an explosion of yummy-ness in my mouth. The quesadilla is to die for too. The brisket is cooked so perfectly and packed with flavor and that cheese sprinkled on top is the icing on the cake, sorry for not knowing the specifics but they will serve it as it should. I am dead serious, they've become my favorite taco place in town. Unfortunately for me I'm not always near that location but best believe I will going there every...

Worst. Service. Ever.

First of all, I would say don’t go there if you are not from Miami. We were treated very poorly while the clients around us got the A treatment. We went there 3h30 before a flight we had to take at the airport, thinking an order of 4-5 tacos wouldn’t be too long. We order. After 25 minutes, still nothing. But people around us are receiving their meal and even second orders they’ve made after our arrival. It kinda felt like discrimination. After 45 minutes, I go back to the stand, asking to take out our order instead because we were becoming short on time. The guy told me that I would have to wait at least another 30 minutes for my order. We just left: 75 minutes for 5 tacos is a total nonsense, especially when there is a dozen clients max in the yard.

As for the food, we couldn’t tell, didn’t get the chance to taste but...

We decided to go there because it was greatly rated. It was the worst experience we had for food in miami.

We ordered 4-5 tacos to eat there. After 25-30 minutes, my boyfriend went to ask if our order was coming, because other clients that were already there had the time to order new food and receive it before us. They told us that our order was next on line, so we waited. After waiting 45 minutes, we asked if we could have the order in take out instead, because we needed to go to the airport to take a flight. They told us that we would have to wait another 30 minutes maybe more to receive our 5 tacos. We left.

1h15 for 5 tacos is ridiculous (especially considering that we were 12 clients in total).

We would have appreciated that they advises us of the waiting time. We would have choosen an other place for sure. We wasted 45 minutes and did...

This is my go-to place for tacos in Miami! They are delicious with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. They use real tortillas and a great size not the tiny ones that fall apart when you hold them. My favorite tacos are shrimp, pibil, steak, al pastor and chicken. They have a vegetarian portion as well. For starters, their guacamole is to die for made fresh on the spot and their corn dish is amazing. They have a variety of drinks from Jarritos, Mexican coke bottles and fresh juices (hibiscus, etc). The owner is very nice and has been there every time I’ve been there. The place is inside the Midtown Garden across from a Gad station so don’t miss it. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and amount of food you get. I’m so happy there so close as I go at least once a week :)

Found this little place because of the name! It is located on a side street along with some plant outside vendors! The tacos are made to order so they will come out as soon as they are done. It’s a small food truck where you will have to find street parking for, but it is definitely worth the wait and paying for parking! The carnitas tacos were my favorite!! Please show this place some love if you are in the area! The customer service is amazing and they come and talk to everyone and make you feel welcomed!
