Im tempted to leave a 0 star review after being complete disrespected by one sales rep and his attitude toward me and my fiancé. We’ve been here 3 times and last night was a true testament to the culture in this place and what to expect from the staff and even owners. I love cigars and even got my soon to be wife into them as well. After dinner we walked in and recognized the main sale rep Keke, my first encounter with him and the owner was awkward to say the least. They looked us as if we were out of place and didn't belong there. Watched our every move and rushed us out after purchasing 4 cigars. I’ve never been rushed out of any lounge and treated like an outsider. I visit high end lounges and feel welcomed often. This was very weird for us. We went back a couple weeks later hesitant because of our first encounter with certain uptight people, but we were in the area and again after dinner we walked in and met a gentleman named Richy. He was absolutely amazing and very welcoming. He gave a few suggestions that we liked very much and took a few home. For the first time some one in this lounge didn’t make us feel unwelcome. We returned last night just after being invited back by Richy and I was very excited to know some good people work there. But again Bad apples really do ruin things for the rest. After to saying hi to Richy we walked into the humidor and once more we met keke for the second time. He was much more rude and even interrupted the sale Richy was making for me…just to say that I couldn’t afford a $46 dollar cigar he then tried to down sale me into buying a “cheaper” cigar that I could “afford” I told him I know exactly what I want and that’s exactly what I’m going to get. He looked baffled and continued the sale for Richy which really struck a nerve for me because my fiancé was standing right across from us and over heard the blatant disrespect coming from a man who knows nothing about me and what I do for a living. He clearly seemed bothered by our presence. We purchased 4 more cigars and he closed us out as Richy watched. Keke then half way lit my cigar and finally left us alone. Me and my fiancé brushed it off and sat down to smoke and hear the music. We started chatting with Richy and got comfortable. Not more than 10 minutes later Keke asked me and my fiancé to get out of our seat for an older woman. She came alone and asked to have 5 seats for her self, the place wasn’t too busy and there were plenty of seats but he came to ask us to get out of ours for an older woman who came alone?! I suppose those 5 seats weren’t enough for her because she then requested to sit elsewhere, and just like that Keke asked another couple to get up out their seats for the older woman. The couple looked confused and I can understand their visual frustration, because at this point the man was playing musical chairs for a woman who couldn’t be pleased. I’m...
Read moreI recently visited Smoke & Barrel Cigar Lounge, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience that exceeded all my expectations as a cigar enthusiast. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for something special. The atmosphere at Smoke & Barrel is nothing short of phenomenal. The lounge is cozy yet refined, with plush leather chairs and a warm, inviting vibe that makes you want to settle in for hours. The state of the art smoke extraction system is a game changer. Despite being a cigar lounge, the air feels fresh, making it comfortable even for those who don’t smoke. The live music on the weekend (I caught a great performer on Saturday!) added such a lively yet relaxed energy, perfect for unwinding with a cigar after a long day. The walk in humidor is a cigar lover’s dream, stocked with an impressive selection of premium cigars, from well known brands to some more unique finds. The staff, especially the owners Frank and Julio, were incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming. They took the time to suggest some truly amazing sticks. Their passion for cigars and hospitality really shines through, and they made me feel like part of the Smoke & Barrel community. The bar is a highlight, offering a wide range of fine spirits and craft cocktails that complement the cigars beautifully. The service was top tier. Everyone is attentive without being overbearing, and every staff member I interacted with was genuinely friendly and eager to ensure I had a great time. (Shoutout to Kike the manager, and Alfi the bar manager) What truly sets Smoke & Barrel apart is the sense of connection it fosters. The ambiance, cigar selection, and exceptional service make it a must visit for anyone in Miami. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to enjoy another evening of sipping, smoking, and soaking in the incredible vibe. Highly recommend Smoke & Barrel for an unforgettable cigar...
