On Friday 04/11/25 my family and I, alongside a group of friends visited said establisment to celebrate our kids graduation. This was the first time visitng this restaurant and it was disastrous from the moment I walked in. From my first interaction with a lady who seem to be the bartender, waitress, cook and maintenance personel was extremely rude when I asked if she could diacard a small bag of miscl garbage, she stared at me, told me to hold and got on the phone and walked away with total disregard. Fast foreward, we were seated (we took up most of the small establishment) The order was taken seperately, food came out in the order that it was taken. My food wasn't bad but definately not the greatest, my wife had the plain milanesa and she stated it had a fishy taste and very bland. Mother in law ordered a side of plantains and it never came out (she declined the reorder and the waitress or manager just disregarded their screw up) We were all in agreement that the service and food was subpar. I'd warn whom ever is reading this comment to reconsider this establishment or at best be mindful of the possibility of bad service and subpar food. With so many places to choose from im in disbelief how careless an establishment can be towards their customers. We were there for avout 3 hours and not a soul walked in this place, additionally, the ordered sodas were never refilled willfully or was even asked if a refill was in need. To top it off they automatically charge an 18% gratuity which in my opinion is wrong and should be up to the guest to tip in accordance with the service provided (makes you wonder) I am not the only one writing about the same. This place is a "one and done" and it was not a place I chose to visit. I am a big believer in visitng the places that you know and have a good and healthy experience, this place failed miserably. The waitress was Yuliana (a heavy set, old blonde south american lady) Be cautious...
Read moreWe were in the area and stopped by for lunch at around 3:00 pm. They have good reviews, but we were completely disappointed with their service. Our waiter was Daniela. We were the only three souls in the entire restaurant. So there was no reason for not having a promt and attentive server. They have QR code at the table to scan and look at the menu. But that doesn't justify Daniela not coming to our table to say hello and ask if we had any questions or even bring us water. It took her 20 mins to serve us water, I'm not exaggerating. She left the water and was leaving. I had to stop her and ask about certain items from the menu and quickly made our decision. (We were parked at a meter and had paid for 2 hrs thinking that was more than enough time to grab a quick lunch) The food also took a while to get to our table. I'm not the type of person that prefers a rushed service when at a restaurant. But I have to call this one out because the place was completely empty and the total lack of attention was incredible. The food was decent. But the unjustified lack of service ruined the experience for us.
A quick tip to the owner/manager consider NOT including 18% gratuity and maybe your service will improve. (Party size 2 adults and a 6 yrs old) I am catering business owner and I understand the importance of tipping the staff when they deserve it. Gratuity has to be earned...
THE FOOD:
Empanadas (Chicken and Beef) were not good as the meat could have been better seasoned.
The Milanesa Margarita was good.
The Beef Carpaccio was average.
The "flat bread" (which is actually a pizza) for our daughter in my opinion was a disaster. She's 6 and she liked it but she also loves the "Pizza Lunchables" cold out of the refrigerator. This place isn't cheap at least have a...
Read moreMy wife and I had lunch today Monday and it was empty, only two tables. The twin servers were helpful but need an extra touch of experience. For instance they were out of diet Coke; my wife went to the nearby store and bought a bottle. They should have done this thenselves at opening if they were out of fountain diet Coke. The food was good, however I asked for a bunless burger and they were surprised, even more when I added two fry eggs on top.. It was served on a wooden plate not appropiate for the no bun with eggs option. In another life I was in the restaurant business for and hav3 sensitivity for the details that customers expect and that make a difference between q restaurant you went to once and a restaurant you cant wait to go back to.
The one thing that was the most unimpressive was the owner (with no customers) was walking back an forth with the bartender messing with a coffee machine but totally ignored us while seated 2 feet away from her. I tried to engage her but she evaded eye contact.Overall, the twin servers have a great personality but belong in an office. The food was good but need to be dynamic and adjust the process on non standard orders. The owner, needs to be in another business that is not centered around people and service.
An establishment lacking real restaurant experience.
Too many options, will...
