Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Middle Township

Not as good as usual. We drive a good distance to get to this particular Dairy Queen. We have found them to be friendly, the place is very clean, and they do a great job with each order. Today there was someone different running the counter, she was not very friendly, didnt seem like she wanted to be there. The items were not made as nicely. After we ordered, our charge for 3 people, including one small kids cup, was almost as much as when our family of 5 all go and order bigger things. I tried to check my receipt, but there was no itemization, just the total charge. I asked her if I could please get an itemized receipt, because the charges were higher than usual, and she said "it doesnt do that" . ?? She also said the nuts are extra, that is why it seems higher (several dollars higher, really?!)-and when I told her that we get the same thing with nuts every time, she just walked away.

After that she couldnt be bothered to help me at all. My banana split topping was blopping off all over the counter before I could even pick it up, but she left me standing there until another customer pointed to me and indicated I needed a spoon. I’ve been coming here for years and never had an issue until today Thursday April 23rd at 3pm, an older lady working is the most disrespectful and rude person I’ve ever encountered. I ordered a large dipped cone specifically and she presented a small cup with the dip on it. After stating I ordered a cone she got mad and told me she wasn’t remaking it that I should’ve been more clear. I don’t know how more clear I can be when ordering a dipped CONE, personally you have to have neurological issues to get a cone and cup confused. Well I asked for a refund, she continue to be rude, I walked out because I could not believe the disrespect I just endured. Management please reach out to me, this is ridiculous and not how any customer should be treated. If I have to go to corporate I will but I’d rather an onsite manager handle this. I would like my refund as well, I should not have paid almost 8 dollars for this. This is absolutely insanity. 8 dollars for a small tiny cup? I thought it was a joke at first!!! The Rio Grande Dairy Queen is literally the BEST DQ around compared to other ones. It’s my Kids and I favorite place to get ice cream but lately I went to a couple different DQs and they never know what their doing.. so I officially won’t go to any other branch, only going to go to the Rio Grande one. .
