Notte — Restaurant in Middlebury

Lovely place for a date or dinner with a few friends. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a 50's lounge; decor is well-done yet cozy, and the food is superb! Pictured are the Not So Stormy cocktail (which was alright), the Mussels (the large amount was shocking but the dressing was impeccable!), Spiked Shrimp Cocktail (loved the smoky flavor), Margherita pizza with Mushrooms added, and the Chocolate Flourless cake (which was surprisingly light and fluffy, just melts in your mouth!). We rented Notte for the night - hosting college swim parents while we watched our daughters compete at their conference championships at Middlebury ! The downstairs (from Two Brothers) pizza oven and bar venue was perfect for our needs. The food was excellent, but the space was even better - allowing us to mingle and enjoy. My family and I just had an absolutely wonderful meal tonight at Notte! My wife really enjoyed the penne carbonara. I sucked down the gumbo while my daughters enjoyed PEI mussels and pepperoni pizza. Everyone was a member of the clean plate club! The service was great. Our server was right on top of all our needs including our children’s needs as well.
