Shiretown Marketplace — Restaurant in Middlebury

This was the first and very last time that I will ever go to this restaurant. I came here for breakfast August 2, 2025 i had a sausage estage egg with bacon. Biscuit biscuit was underdone. The egg was way overdone I ordered a medium rare.and got well done and the meat tasted like the crap that you. Get from mckenzie's for the bacon and sausage you're better off to go to McDonald's. That way, if you're gonna get crap you'might as well know what you're paying for. Very long, wait to get your meal I actually prefer McDonalds The waitstaff don't circle back to see how everything is. Just all around not impressed save your money...

I'm looking forward to trying food here. The shop has a great feel and clean, attractive look. They are open until 4. I arrived at 2:15, read the specials board outside, and eagerly went in to order the French Onion grilled cheese. I was bummed that, because it was after 2:00, I could not get lunch (other than soup.) On my way out, I checked the BB amd the specials board to see what I had missed. I still did not see a mention of when lunch ended, though it is possible I still missed it. I will still return, as friends have told me the food is very good. I am happy to have some choices that our out of the usual fare...

I'd give more stars if I could. Absolutely some of my favorite bbq I've ever had. I had the pulled pork sandwich, which was AMAZING, and it came on a fresh baked bun that almost melted as I ate it. On the side, I had probably the best mac and cheese I've ever had. It had a bit of charred cheese crust on top. Well played! While I was there, fresh breads came out of the oven, so I grabbed a loaf of sourdough. It was AWESOME! I also grabbed a cold brew on my way out, which was really really good. Thank.
