Went through the drive through with my daughter. Got to the window and the total was $17.04. I gave the cashier $20.04, but she did not see the $0.04 until she entered $20 in the register. The cashier gave me back $2.96, and I asked for $3 back (she did not return my 4 cents). She said she could not do that because it would throw the register off. I insisted it wouldn't but she said it has in the past. When I tried to get a dollar for the .96 +.04, she became upset and told me not to argue with her (still insisting that it would throw the register off because she entered only $20). I took my change and left. I go to that Starbucks often, and have always had super friendly customer service. I write this in hopes that the management at Starbucks ensures that people running the register understand basic math, and have the patience to listen to the customer. I am guessing the gal is a good person (the line was long, and I am sure she felt pressure), but she should probably not be running the register. Food and drink was good, as usual.

I’ve had good experiences for the most part. However, there are times they don’t give what I ordered, especially when it’s not free to add ingredients. For example, there were times I didn’t get the sweet cream cold foam, whipped cream or caramel drizzle. This leaves me disappointed. My husband does coffee runs so he picks up the drinks and never look at the label. It’s too much hassle to go back, especially when they are also so busy. I used to go in person but I’ve had experiences where they completely skipped my orders, and others after me were getting theirs. The baristas are so busy for me to stop them to ask about my order. Sometimes I’d get back in line just to ask the person at the register and sometimes I am able to ask the barista putting the drinks out on the pick up counter. Other than that, the baristas don’t stop for a second to look at me. It gets frustrating. I understand they are busy, but customers also have errands to get to as well. This is why I’d rather place mobile orders and pick up at the drive-thru.

Finally got my drink, but the wrong size (gave me grande vs venti) for correct amount of shot and syrup. How you got wrong the first request but correctly the rest? If you just decided to give me whatever you want why you ask me to repeat?? I said I ordered venti, she said she couldn't hear me. Ironically she can hear me this time perfectly fine without me repeating 2-3 times. Drink is yummy. Do not recommend order inside.

Being a starbucks barista must truly be the most challenging job in the world, either that or this location only hires staff that don’t know how to read a ticket/just don’t give a shit. I rarely order from this location because even though i order the exact same drink every time i go to starbucks, they somehow never make it consistently and very seldom make it the way i order it. Almost every worker at this location is incredibly unfriendly, with the exception of one worker that i have personally encountered. I don’t even ask to have my drink remade anymore because on the few occasions that i’ve been bold enough to ask, they refuse and tell me the same thing everytime - “that’s just how we make this drink.” It’s really ridiculous paying $6-7 for a drink and something as simple as “light ice” or “no strawberries” is somehow so difficult to understand. Today in particular, i ordered the Strawberry Açaí w/ lemonade with light ice and no strawberries, and when i walked into the store to pick it up, i saw my cup sitting on the counter filled completely to the top with ice, and it had been ignored so staff could make a different order first. so by the time they did start making my drink, the cup was not only almost entirely full of ice, but there was also a small amount that had melted in the bottom, which led to my drink being even more watered down. this is most certainly a first world problem, but what’s the point of being able to customize your drink and order it the way you want if staff are just going to make it however they please anyway? it takes less than 60 seconds to make this drink and for some reason it’s the most impossible task in the world to simply read the ticket and follow instructions? i seriously don’t know what it is about this location. at least at other locations they have some sort of consistency with the way they make my drink and are attentive enough to either make it the way i order it, or remake it for me if i ask. if you’re in middleton and looking to get some starbucks, just do yourself a favor and head over to the allen blvd...

Usually have a good experience here but my experience this morning made me reconsider going to this location. The barista wearing the blue flannel shirt that was working at the window was rude and it was clear that she did not want to be there. When taking my order she just asked what I wanted, I said my order, and then it was silent after that. I waited for a response or for her to tell me a total/to pull to the window/etc but it was quiet so I just pulled up to the window. I told her I wanted to pay with cash first and then wanted to put the rest on my card. I gave her cash and she set it down inside the window and immediately pulled out the credit card machine. I reiterated that the cash I gave her was for my order and that I wanted to pay with the cash first and then the rest on my card. She stared at me blankly and rolled her eyes, put the cash towards my total, and then held the card machine out at me with no words. She wouldn't even look at me as I was struggling to get my card in. I was trying to talk to her for help but got no acknowledgment. She wordlessly gave me my order and shut the window and I drove off wondering why I even came. As a past barista myself, it was an eye opening experience. If I could give this Starbucks zero stars I would! This is the closest Starbs to my home and I will drive out of my way to go to another friendlier, more efficient location. Three of the five times I have attempted to give this location a chance they have highly disappointed. First visit, lost my order and I stood in there for 17 minutes watching others who ordered after me get their drinks and go. Finally I said something to the barista and they acted like I was inconveniencing them, and then they discovered they lost my order. Had to basically demand a sorry out ouf them. Second time they did not have all the ingredients for my order but failed to mention this while ordering...then tried to give me my order without what I ordered (and paid for) in it. Then today my husband tried to go there for me. Again stood there after ordering for 20 minutes (yes 20!) and he watched a woman who ordered after him get my exact drink before him!?! He asked for his money back because he was upset and over it, they refunded the money but offered nothing to make up for their mistakes. This is absolutely...
