Burger kraze
Hidden gem! Delicious food, humble and friendly; would highly recommend others to go here.
We traveled approx. 30 min while taking a scenic drive in the area on a nice day and found the place via google reviews.
Ate in-house, the owner was super friendly and told us our food would be ready in 10 min, and it was punctually ready. Ambience has light kpop playing in the background with quite a few people sitting in and eating or picking up.
Food: Had the potato corn dog with half cheese and half beef hot dog, bacon avocado burger, and the kraze cheeseburger.
Potato corn dog cheese pull was immaculate, the beef hot dog was good but next time I think we would order a full cheese because we enjoyed it a lot.
I'm a big fan of burger patties with that seasoned crisp crust and the patties here delivered in spades. I ordered the bacon avocado burger because they had run out of the bulgogi burger (I would love to come back to try the bulgogi burger if I'm in the area). They did not skimp on the avocado and the bacon, topped with pepper jack cheese with that delicious patty.
Tried a bite of the kraze, a quintessential burger that'll please a burger lover; no notes, a well-made burger with the fixings.
The best way to visualize Burger Kraze is if Shake Shack went back to their roots and was made with love and care again and ALSO served delicious Korean corn dogs.
Would definitely return here or make the scenic drive out again, truly a wonderful place.
I feel like our picture doesn't do the place enough justice but we were too...
Read moreI’m not someone who usually craves burgers, but after one meal at Burger Kraze in Middletown, I’m officially converted. This is not a chain, not a franchise, not some copy‑paste food concept. This is one man’s dream made real. Isaac, the owner and creator, built this from scratch. And you can feel it, and taste it in every detail.
The mushroom burger I ordered was, honestly, a revelation. Thin, smash-style patties perfectly seared, layered with tender mushrooms and a sauce so rich and balanced it could be bottled and sold on its own. The burger is light in the hand, but full of flavor and soul. No grease bombs here. Just beautifully crafted food.
And then there are the truffle fries. Crispy, fragrant, wildly addictive. I don’t even like truffle fries most places, but these? They’re in a class of their own.
What makes Burger Kraze so special is more than just the quality of ingredients (which are clearly top-notch). It’s that Isaac cares. You feel it the moment you walk in. He’s not just running a restaurant, he’s sharing something he truly loves with the community. This is someone who obsesses over sourcing, flavor, and your experience, and it shows.
If you think you’ve had a great burger before, come here and let this place quietly blow your mind....
Read moreSo, this place is decent enough. Burger to bun ratio was a tad off. There was too much burger patty and not enough bun. I know it sounds stupid, but in my opinion, the bun should cover the whole patty. Also. It was way too greasy for me. LTOP were all fine, but they didn't put enough of that Kraze sauce on the burger. What little sauce they did put on was kinda bland. The fries were the bomb though. Steak fries with a nice seasoning on them, and it was portioned very well. Lastly, the corn dog. They serve a plain corn dog with a mountain of sugar on it. Like, don't get me wrong. I love me some sugar. What fat butt American doesn't 😆. But on a corn dog? I had them remake it, and without the sugar, it was loads better. They do their own panko crust as well. Stuff is so good!!! The girl behind the counter was nice. Good energy. Hope she always has that fire in her.
All in all, I don't think I'll come back because I already have a good burger place that's up the road from there. But, if I ever have a craving for a REALLY good corn dog and fries, I'll definitely swing back in. Hope this review helps and be good to each...
