Tre Colore Pizzeria — Restaurant in Middletown Township

$30 for 1 small sub and 2 giant garlic knots. All sandwiches had maybe one tiny cutlet each chopped into triangles and were insanely thin. Sandwich was the godmother - barely any sauce and any chicken. For $9 per sandwich it’s ridiculous and disappointing. Flavors are there but value and the amount of the good stuff is low. It’s a chicken sandwich - where’s the chicken?! Also I order all the time from here. Always the same with the sandwiches it seems - nothing on them. Also with their pepperoni and sausage rolls. Their pizza is excellent. Their Stromboli is amazing for the price. They need to sauté the pepper and onions though - last time they were literally raw in the sausage Stromboli. Pizza was weirdly sweet and gross, we couldn't eat it. First time in my life a pizza is so bad it's inedible (and I ate Middletown TWP school pizza!) Italian sub was 2 slices of rectangular shaped processed and water logged "ham" with "cheese" on a soft roll. It was worse than those ready made sandwiches at gas stations. Spaghetti was "almost as good as Chef Boyardee" which is about the saddest thing I've heard said about a NJ Italian place in my life. The pizza had no "table" in it so the cheese all stuck to the lid, bc ofc it did, they piled heavy stuff on it. But at least it was so bad we couldn't eat it. Silver lining!

Waited a day before posting on the most recent Pizza Stop.

While working Medic Unit #206 yesterday.

Swung by for a slice or 2 maybe 3.

Ended up having a slice of Grandma, Sicilian and then Margherita.

Out of the 3 the crust on the Grandma was crispy, sauce sweet, tangy and the cheese was dry and not very tasty.

The Sicilian had a light, airy, crispy crust, minimal sauce and cheese was average.

Margherita was soggy crust with little taste, cheese dry also not tasty and sauce was blah.

Out of the 3 the Sicilian was the better, needs more sauce and a better cheese.
