Middletown Pizza and Grill — Restaurant in Middletown Township

Order here about once a month because they are the closest pizza shop that I can place an online order. I usually order through Yelp, and pay through the app as well. Unfortunately the convenience isn't always trouble free. A few months ago, I ordered online and paid online, but when the delivery driver came, he said that his records showed that it was not prepaid, so I paid the driver. After he left, I checked my bank account and saw that I was indeed charged for the original order. I called, and the driver returned my money, so that was resolved. But I recently had another issue when I ordered a pizza online. My girlfriend went to pick up the pizza, and when she got home, I noticed that the pizza did not have any of the toppings I ordered/paid for. I called the shop, and the girl who answered was clueless, and transferred me to her manager. The manager said that the online order was not processed correctly to the kitchen. I asked if they could deliver the correct pizza, and I would return the original because the mistake was their fault. He stated that I would have to pay for delivery if I wanted that. When I said I didn't want to pay delivery, he said that he could discount me in the future. He never gave me his name, or any coupon code. All he said was that he worked nights..... I own a pizza place so as you can imagine Im pretty picky. My wife ordered from here last night and i heated a piece of pizza up today just to try it out. I do a hand toss pizza so to get a pan pizza as good as this was a great treat. It was delicious! So keep up the good work guys. As for the 1 star reviews I read, they just aren't fair. They have all ordered multiple times and the one bad experience gets them a one star review? How about all the other times? Don't they deserve a good review for all the times prior? In our business things happen beyond our control. We obviously want to please everyone every time. We are obviously not purposely trying to dissatisfy people. We work very hard day and night to build a successful small business and our reviews are important to us. So if you enjoy it then please write a good review before you write a bad one. I used the Slice app to order Chicken Fingers and Fries to be delivered to my wife at work. She is a nurse at Riddle. This was all clearly explained in great definition in the app. I am not sure if those instructions just didn't make it over to the shop from the app, but either way, the driver (Jaden) was not aware. He called me and asked where 1068 W Baltimore Pike was. I told him it's Riddle Hospital and then began to explain to him how to locate my wife in the hospital. About 20 minutes later he called me again to say he was at the hospital and where should he go. I explained it again. When he finally connected with my wife, there was no apology.
